Went there almost every day in the good times.
Great party with many dancers much more attractive than now.

Refers to upstairs. Have been going to Men's Club for 15 years, there is no upstairs.

Right on to what has happen at Treasures.
The good old days are as described.
It was one continuous party with so many attractive women who were very friendly and great to be with and were your date for the night.
Partied in upstairs VIP from 8 till closing.
Many bottles of Veuve Cliquot
The Mens Club was almost as good. Standing room only on a Friday afternoon.

Additional information. I have not been in the upstairs VIP recently but it is not roped off as it was before when there were problems with the city.
I think that it is the same as before. There has always been privacy in the last balcony booths on the right at the top of the stairs. The last booths are private as someone has to walk all the way down to them from the entrance.
I think the far backroom is still the same. This is a new room which was added on. There was good privacy there in the past as it was a large, dark room with several good corner tables, The far corner to the left as you enter was dark and very private. The lighting was very attractive and gave the illusion of stars with multiple small lights. It had a very non commercial atmosphere and was worth the fee. Back then the was one bottle of wine or champagne or about $ 80, more for better champagne.
It can be a very serene and quiet place during the day and I had several very nice times there. I have not been there at night.
Between the front balcony and the back room was another room with booths with partitions. Do not know if it is still there. I never like it or sat there. This was the back room in the original VIP with booths and couches along the walls and a small stage. Then when they did the addition they did the booths which I think was a mistake. This was a great party room in the good old days. Could be 10 or more very attractive women, 25 people in all, all partying, was like a private party.

Am propping to give some additonal information based on multiple recent visits.
What makes it special is that the Mens Club has the best looking dancers at present in Houston in my opinion.. Have been there several times recently and spent time with several attractive dancers at acceptable compensation. The Houston Club scene is not what is was, Treasures is not what it was, 10 or more years ago .Based on my recent visits, the Mens' Club has the most attractive dancers.
Keep going back to Treasures (day) but have been disappointed. The night may be better but more expensive. Have not been to Treasures or Mens Club after 10 pm
Have not been to St.James recently so do not have any current information on St. James.
