- Strip Club Laws across the USAarticle comment13 years agoThe article reads like they are JUST attempting ZONING REGULATIONS.... Nothing mentioned about "no touch" 6 ft rules, limiting hours of operations... Some zoning limitations aren't all that bad....like not by church or schools...

OHIO, MISSOURI are CONSERVATIVE STATES... ironically in CLEVELAND-LIBERAL the laws are loosely enforced and in CINCINNATI-CONSERVATIVE home of CCV laws are STRICTLY ENFORCED. MISSOURI-STATEWIDE LAW WAS INITIATED BY MATT BARTLE- A RIGHT WING REPUBLICAN... Although in some cases Democrats such as in Louisville are the culprit, it is mostly the RELIGIOUS RIGHT WING of the GOP which is the main enemy of adult entertainment even though the TEA PARTY GOP LIBERTARIAN clashes with the Religious right GOP on many issues...In the suburbs of DETROIT, MI-LIBERAL, laws are very "loosely" enforced...I am certain there are areas such as Seattle,-LIBERAL where anti strip club laws are strictly enforced, but again it's the ULTRA CONSERVATIVE RIGHT WING GOP that is the biggest enemy.
- article comment13 years agoStrip Clubs Owners, It's time to "Get It"jestrite50OhioSome of the BEST clubs have LOW or NO COVERS, good security with no goons watching over the lap dance area, SMOKE EATERS (if there is still smoking allowed), comfortable seating, diverse beverage and alcohol selections at reasonable prices, $10 LAP DANCES. I agree the biggest is the LEGALITY OF LAP DANCES facing the strip club industry. You would think common sense & JOBS would prevail over lawmakers with misguided moral Nazi dictator beliefs..... but in Louisville, KY, all of OHIO, MISSOURI, Detroit, MI, and countless other cities and states the moral Nazi (mostly REPUBLICAN) lawmakers are essentially legislating clubs out of business with DRACONIAN 6 FOOT NO TOUCHING LAWS, limiting hours of operations, no alcohol... Our country is getting dangerously close to being ran by the far right wing religious right & if we don't vote these kooks out of office there will be no strip clubs left where lap dances are legally allowed in the USA.
