Hollywoods is my go-to club. The place has a gated parking lot with a security guard watching the lot. The club is "clean" - as clubs go. Drinks are not unreasonably priced - not cheap but not terrible. My problem is that I'll buy drinks for the dancers. Not that they ask... I just do. Seems stupid for me not to be somewhat nice. The dancer selection is really, really good for East St. Louis. Typically, there are four 8 or higher while the rest are in the 5-8 range. The dancers will general sit and talk to you before hitting you up for a private. Sometimes we'll go hours before they ask if I would like a private - which is nice. Privates are $25 (I consider that a bargain). Of course, depending on the dancer, the privates are YMWV. I have gotten good ones and bad ones. On this trip, I spent a few hours with Stormy (Stormie). She was friendly with a sense of humor. However, when I go for private, stop the chit-chat. I hate not feeling like I get the full experience because they are talking about their kids during the private. I should just learn to get 1 private up-front and decide if I want to move to another dancer or hang with the one.

After hitting Hollywoods, I headed to Cheeks. Cheeks is pretty horrible on the inside and parking is just bad. I have never paid cover or anything. The bartenders are friendly. The dancers range between 0-5. I have never seen a "pretty" dancer in Cheeks or Wiseguys (same owner). The dancers tend not to stage dance but push the VIP room - which is $20 plus the payment for the dancer. What happens in the VIP room? Well, wink-wink. This trip, I talked with a dancer named Cherry (AA) who had an 8" scar across her midsection - she said it was from gallbladder surgery. It was a gigantic scare on a dancer who was maybe 95 pounds. She was knocking back vodka and pills. She was grabby at the bar (in a special way). But I wasn't interested in a VIP today with her or any other dancer on shift. So, I left disappointed.... If you go, set expectations accordingly.

I visited all of the Washington Park clubs last Friday. Most have gone down in terms of dancer quality. C-Mowes is nice because the parking lot is gated. But that is where the positives end. The 6 or so dancers seemed to average over 40 years old - which some guys might like. But not me. The dancers looked tired. Just tired of life. Not much happening. Very few customers for 8pm on a Friday. They had just one stage going. After the dancer left the stage, she would walk the floor asking for tips (I hate that). While there, I had 2 dancers looking for my business. I just couldn't get myself worked up for it and left. I enjoy going to every club just to see. You never know. But if you have just once change at a club, skip.

When I go to any club in Washington Park, I go to them all. You never know. I used to love Wise Guys when Autumn worked there. She has since moved to Dollies (or Blondies - they are across from each other I get them confused). Something must have occurred at WG since the number and quality of dancers has gone down. On this past Friday, 7pm, they had just 3 dancers (a fourth called out sick). Just 4 dancers for a Friday! When I walked in, they had just one customer. So, one dancer was with the customer. No one on stage. I sat with the two remaining dancers. One was AA and the other white. They were nice. Got the WP handshake. But, I wasn't interested in either and decided to leave. Be smart when you to go to WG. Sometimes it can be more than a strip club (wink) depending on the dancer (so prices might seem high if you don't know what is being offered). But I wasn't interested in all that.

I am never disappointed by Hollywood's. The waitresses actually make the place. The wait staff are incredibly friendly. Well, again (my fourth review of Washington Park excursion), I go to all of the clubs in WP in a single night. I finally end at Hollywood's. It is my go-to-club if nothing better is happening somewhere else. Dances are just $25 a song. And the girls, anytime of the day, are always above 6-7's. On Friday evening and night, they are knock-outs. I settled in with Paris. She was a conversationalist that provided great private dances. No rush. Perfect. Had a few dances with a new dancer (won't give name). While gorgeous, she was just bad at private dancers. I almost wanted to give her a lesson. I don't think she will make it another month. In any case, drinks are reasonable (for clubs) and the dances are great.

Went at noon and stayed until 3:30pm or so. 18 dancers on the scheduled; the most I have ever seen on a rotation that early in the day. I went the Friday prior to July 4; so perhaps they were wanting to catch some early holiday traffic. Hung with Destiny and Candy. First time there. Very clean place, as strip clubs in IL go. Destiny and Candy were incredibly friendly and sat with us the whole time. Did not try to sell us on dances the whole time either. Very relaxed. Dancer quality was mixed. Some 9's. Some 5's. You could definitely find something to your taste (unless your taste is for guys). I got 4 or 5 dances from Destiny and/or Candy (one double). Usual dance on a bed. Nothing extra. But not bad. Just the usual. $25 each song. Drinks are $7-$12. I dropped $200 on drinks alone. Such is life. If I was worried about $, I wouldn't be where I was.

The parking lot was packed. It has been a while since I have been to PT's Centreville. I had a female friend with me. So, I thought I would give it try. $10 cover - each of us to get it ($20 total). I have never been charged such a high cover, especially when I am with a female. We went in any way. Got drinks - which were really reasonably (just ~$5). Water was free or close to free. The atmosphere was more bar like then strip club. A lot of couples. I didn't see any dancers walking around. Just the few on the stage. Two girls on one stage and 1 male on the other stage. We went to the couples only part. Paid another $10 for that privilege. Sat and had a few drinks. Lots of "heavy petting" going on around us. After maybe 15 minutes, Tony, the dance floor attendant, wanted another $10 for us to stay there. Said we never paid the first time. I wasn't interested in arguing. Just shook his hand and told him I would go spend my money else where. Considering the place was REALLY crowded and the attendants REALLY unfriendly, I don't think I'll go back. I'll stick with Centerfolds next door or Hollywoods.

Walked in and couldn't figure out where the stage was... boy did I feel stupid. Turns out the bar blocks you. So, you have to buy a drink as you go buy. Got by $4 coke and took a seat. Just two dancers. One had to be ~250# (if not more). The other looked really strung out. I mean just strung out. No way was this the place for me. I just finished my drink and walked out. If you like larger women, give it a try.... otherwise, give it a pass.

After a bad stop at Blondies, I headed across the street to Dollie's. $2 cover. Let me tell you, that was $50 too much! This has to be about the worst club I have ever been in - in terms of dive look. The seats where the plastic covered wood kind with the plastic missing on most. Drinks were maybe $3-4 for a coke. Two stages. Guys sitting at tables talking to girls with the highest being maybe a 5. Lots of 2-4's. I didn't really scout the VIP or private area. After a dancer comes off stage, she hits every guy up for tips. Really! Oh man. That can make it rough... especially when she complains after you don't tip. Had a few sit next to me and they smelled a bit. Not THAT bad but not of perfume. After talking for a few minutes, I just said no and left. Headed towards another club.
