I've been to TMC several times...
I've been to TMC several times in the past month or so. The club is consistently clean and the staff are extremely friendly. The drink selection is decent, if stereotypically overpriced. Drink prices are also done in increments of 25-75 cents, and you won't be getting change unless you ask for it (but who does?). There are three stages, not all of which are running at all times. When it's busy though, it provides a nice bit of variety.
The dancers are generally very good. There is the usual variability, though. I can't imagine they try to do it this way, but dancers always seem to come and ask if you'd like a dance whenever you really just want to sit and have a drink, but are then nowhere to be found when you actually do want a dance.
Almost all of the dancers are very nice and professional. There have been a few instances where my declining a dance offer with "Not right now, but thanks" was met with barely contained disgust or anger.
The dances have been almost universally great. The dancers generally very good looking and are pretty varied in their styles. Some go for a quiet sweetness with pretty simple, but still nice dancing. Others can only be described as contortionists who can do some really amazing things.
Prices for everything are higher than usual, though in my opinion when the dancer is doing really well, the price is probably worth it. If you pay attention for specials, you can get a much better distance out of a dollar. They're fairly regular in timing and will stretch your money.
Overall I really enjoy TMC. Seeing other reviews saying that it has gone downhill in recent years makes me wish I'd seen it then, mainly because I have a consistently good time now. Makes me wonder if previously this would have been a "consistently awesome" time.
