Gallagher's is a pretty enormous space but during the day only the main bar area is open. additionally there is a lap dance area separate from the bar area on the first floor and on the second floor (go for the second floor as its more private). finally there is a VIP closed off area. At the bar stage, typically three women are dancing at a time. The only thing that bothers me about that are the girls who come around begging for tips. at three dancers at a time, it gets annoying. Lots of tvs at the bar so watching sports is possible if the dancers on stage are not to your liking...and during the day that possibility exists. The place is close to the 7 Train and while the neighborhood looks sketchy, its not that bad and I feel comfortable walking around there. the place is in a warehouse area off a main drag. I was just not impressed this last time around with the talent. A lot of fake tits on decent looking ladies but only one stand out hottie and she wasn't even doing any lapdances. odd. she would just dance on stage, collect tips, and get off the floor like it was on fire. Perhaps this was because it was a Wednesday afternoon. i've been here on a Saturday night and the women are WAY hotter, but the crowd is also denser (thus you might not get with the girl you have your eye on cause someone beat you to the punch). The upside during the day is that there are happy hour specials (pretty cheap strong drinks or even cheaper beer), occasional drink specials, a free lunch (not for me but maybe your thing), a casual atmosphere, and a good male to female ratio. very chill indeed. the crowd is cool and the place is clean and professional. I recall there was no cover during the day, but maybe they just slacked when i showed up. Lap dances are priced at the universal price of $20 and are pretty good. none of this air dance crap. I actually like how the women wear gowns and such before they strip down but i can understand how others will find it difficult to evaluate the girl. FYI - A lot of latinas during the day, so if that's your thing, this is a good time to go. At night I spotted about 2 asians. I need to figure out which club has a larger selection of asian women. any suggestions? I would come back during the day again if I wanted to have a cheap fun time, but if I am looking for smoking hot chicks and had the money to spend, I would venture into manhattan.
