Newbies, espec. those from New York, need to understand the standard rate here is 60 - which 95% of dancers accept. Just say "I know the rate is 60" -for 5 songs which is about 15 min. or so. Even a tip of 10-20 is rare here, if you exceed 5 songs. Usually no one counts songs at all. New guys who pay more than 60 are being taken for a ride - & making it tougher for the next guy. Stay with 60 and spend higher in NYC.
