Cheeks caught me by surprise. It has a different vibe than any strip club that I have been to. I would have guessed it was a regular sports bar if not for the stage, poles, and scantily-clad women. It is very dark and spacious and had more decorating than the typical strip-club. The talent was average in my book, but that was to be expected for a Sunday. There weren't many customers or dancers during my visit, so the dancers were snatched up very quickly during the dance specials. I chalked it up as a scouting trip and left without spending much money. I would like to go back for a fight or football game sometime and check out the rest of the line-up.

I finally checked out the renovations at the Centerfold Club a couple of Saturdays ago. It seems like the club traded its pretty dancers for nicer lap dance areas. The dancer quality was surprisingly low for a Saturday night. The private dance areas are much nicer though. After midnight or 1 a.m. dances are 2 for $40 (if I remember correctly). Before that 2 for $40 only goes for the dance specials. Although it wasn't a great experience this time, I have enjoyed myself enough there in the past to justify a return. I am optimistic that the talent will return as it always has in the past.

I made an unplanned stop to the Living Room a couple of weekends ago. The neon lights from Dixie lured me off I-75 on my way thru town. After driving around the area a bit I settled on the Living Room. Everything about this place is down to earth. The location of the club, the club itself, the bartenders, and the dancers too. It is big change of pace from the Columbus clubs that I am used to. The girls seemed very willing to engage in conversation with patrons. Lap dances were $20/$40 as other reviewers have mentioned, and the lap dance area is very comfortable. I got there late so I didn't have time to make a comprehensive report on dance quality. Maybe next time. Altogether much more affordable than the stip joints in Columbus and worth an occasional drive to Dayton.
