Showed up there after a night out on the town. The coat check girl can watch more than coats (ipads, cameras, etc.) and yes, you do get everything back at the end of the night. The bar is right up front, as well as a low stage (a foot off the floor) where two girls dance with clothes on (bikinis usually). Walking past the bar, you get to the main room which has a more traditional stage with two topless dancers at a time (the DJ is off to one side). There are wall-length padded benches along the other three walls, and a bunch of cocktail tables in the center. The girls are well above-average. I only remember one sub-par one, and even she wasn't that bad. Mostly eastern European with a few Latinas as well. Yes, as is typical of just about every place I've been to, girls will approach you and offer a dance. Most will not put up a fight if you politely decline. There is also an upstairs level, with another bar, a comfortable couch in a semi-circle, and another low stage with one pole. There's always one girl dancing there, whether there are any customers there or not. There's also another long padded bench opposite the bar. There was nobody up there other than the one dancer and the bartender, so I went back downstairs. The place is a tad small compared to most places in NYC, but it's a good atmosphere, and there's still plenty of room for everyone. As for the dances... They are $20 each for your typical 3 minute song, nothing on top, thong on the bottom, etc. Girls are not allowed to put their legs to either side of the guys there, so typically they have the guys open up their legs and they dance between. I had dances with several girls, and all grinded some, and put their breasts very close to you at some point. While it sounds very run-of-the-mill, the fact that they were all pretty with nice bodies makes this a pleasant experience. A good time, so long as your expectations are in line with the way the place runs. A pretty decent vibe. Yes, there's also a guy who tries to convince you to go to a VIP room, which is $630. I forget if that's for an hour or half-hour. I kinda just tuned the guy out immediately, and politely declined. He didn't pressure me anymore, and seemed to be an OK guy. Bouncers are there (of course) but remain rather transparent so long as nobody starts reaching for body parts. All in all, it's not bad at all. There's room to move inside, you can enjoy the sites, and get a few dances. And isn't that pretty much all you can ask of a strip club?

Cover charge: $30. Lap dance: $20. The amount of grinding? Priceless! Went to Scores for the first time earlier this year. I actually wrote this review a while ago, and then forgot to post it. Better late than never, so here goes... The girls that were there were - for the most part - pretty hot. I didn't see an awful lot of silicone (a big plus for me), but that's not to say all the girls were light on top. There was a good range in bust, booty and waist size, as well as hair, skin color, etc. A good mix. There were a little more than 25 girls on shift, at close to midnight, and about as many customers. It was a light night, given the time of the year, and (I'm guessing) the economy. The average dancer rating is 8, but I'd say the full range of girls was 6 to 10. It's certainly bigger than any other strip club I've been in before (although I admit, I haven't been to too many). The bar is off to the right, and is rather sizeable. Drinks were about average in strength and price for a topless place. Across the room from the bar is the big main stage, with several TV screens serving as the backdrop. The screens only display designs and silhouettes of dancers from DVDs. Only one dancer on the stage at a time, and the girl strips down to her g-string. Around the stage are several clusters of sofas (either one or two people sized). The girls amble around offering dances, either right there on the spot, or to one of several places around the corner, which would be generously described as "semi-private". The area that I went to was lined with several not-too-comfortable padded benches and a few tables to put your drink on. Oh, and there's a second stage; just large enough for one girl and the pole. It's literally right next to the bar, in fact. Both stages and the bar area are raised, so no matter where you are in the club, you can see the dancers on the stages rather easily. The first girl who gave me a dance immediately offered quite a bit extra if we went to one of the back rooms, but I politely declined. There's something about "I want your c*ck inside me" that sets off alarm bells in my head. Besides, I'm more about the entertainment value in these places, anyway. The dance itself was OK. She did a little grinding, and liked to place my hands on her breasts, or more like the areas right next to her breasts. With bouncers the size of battleships nearby, I wasn't too quick to move my paws elsewhere. Asking her early on to do two consecutive dances seemed to loosen her up a bit. I guess she realized that, while she wouldn't be taking me to the VIP room, she was at least getting more than the typical $20 plus tip, so she ended up enjoying our time. I think most of the time, if you just explain what you want, and just relax and enjoy the show, the girl will treat you right. Back to the bar, many of the girls had no problem chatting for a while. I got the impression that many of them haven't been doing this for too long. It could be that, knowing the club would not be so full of customers that evening, the owners decided to try out a lot of new girls all at once. It was rather pleasant, actually, as I wasn't getting pushed every two seconds for a dance. Eventually, another girl who says she had been there a while sat down next to me. Incredibly pretty brunette with a nice body. I decided I found another dance partner. I like to talk to the girls while they're dancing, which helps put everyone at ease. I again asked for two dances, and asked her take some of that time to dance on my friend, who happened to be nearby. A sneak attack lap dance. She liked the idea, and when she came back over for the rest of the time, she gave me some more free reign (well, about as free as you could possibly expect in an upscale place). So, if you're keeping notes: buy a dance for your friend. You'll apparently be awarded, so long as you behave reasonably. Much like the first girl, this one also offered to explain the VIP rooms, but I declined again. I wasn't expecting going to Scores when the evening began, so my wad of cash was not large enough for such endulgences. Sorry for the lack of info in that regard. The girl went back to the bar with me for a little while. Eventually, she had to go and keep working, but talked with us for a while first. And that helps explain the vibe of the place in a nutshell...a lot of fun, and mostly laid back. We were there for nearly three hours, had a few drinks, had a few dances (could've had more!), and watched a few girls on the stage. Not bad. In fact, I left a bit earlier than my other friends, but as I was heading out the door, one of the girls decided to start dirty dancing with one of my buddies, her breasts constantly falling out here and there. Good times.

A quick note first... The dancer rating is an average score of all girls there. Also note that, since there are so few reviews of this place, that I'm going to write down absolutely everything I can remember of the place, so this'll be a bit long. OK, I went there to check the place out as a potential spot for a friend's bachelor's party. It's a few blocks from the subway, but it felt like forever, given that the neighborhood isn't the best. While a big bright sign on the side says "Topless", a small banner closer to the door says "All Nude". I paid a $20 cover and went in. The place is small. Long and narrow, with two long, thin stages running down the middle. The bar is along one side of the room, and it does NOT serve alcohol. That's because the little banner outside (the one saying "all nude") is the correct one. The dancers on the stage do get all nude. So the bar only has water, non-alcoholic beer, etc. It is important to point out that there's a two drink minimum, even though there's no alcohol. I had two bottles of water, $6 each. Back to the dancers... At the time when I walked in, there were two girls, one on each stage. Other than them, I spotted two other girls talking to customers around the room. I noticed that when a guy walked up to give one of the stage dancers a tip, a minor amount of touching was allowed. Not a lot, but more than any other place I've been to (disclaimer: I haven't been to too many strip clubs in my life, so your experience may put the little amounts of touching in a different perspective). Of the four girls I had seen thus far, one was very pretty with a nice body. The other three weren't "bad", but certainly not in the pretty girl's league. As I tipped the pretty one, I let her know I'd like to see her later. A few minutes later, new dancers were brought to the stage. Now, the two girls who were up there were replaced by three (two of them shared one of the stages). Two of the girls I had not seen before. One was very pretty, but her body wasn't quite up to snuff. The other one was really tall, with a tattoo spanning her two butt cheeks. Nice touch. Anyway, in her case, it was difficult to get a good view of her, since she was turned away from me most of the time she was on stage, but I think she was pretty. At this point, I had seen all dancers I would see for the evening. There were a total of six. Of the six, two were pretty with a nice body. The other four of them were either pretty OR had a nice body. Since I know it's important info for others, four of the women were black (including the tall good looking one), one was Latina, and one eastern European. The European is the one I liked the most. After she got off the stage, she said there was one guy who asked for a dance ahead of me. No problem. I checked out those other three girls as I waited, which wasn't too long. OK, my turn. She took me to one of the two short ends of the room, where a few seats are set up along the walls. My plan was to just get one dance, see what it was like, pay my money, and leave with most of my cash still in my pocket. I ended up getting two, because the dance was that good. Each dance is $20 and lasts the standard one song. My dancer put quite a lot of passion into her performance, and also put my hands first on her waist, then on her breasts. Not bad for $20, for sure! Lots of eye contact when facing me, lots of grinding when facing away. I should stop here and mention that, while the girls are nude on stage, they only strip down to panties for the lap dance. There is a VIP room (don't quote me, but I think it was $125 for 15 minutes, and $175 for 30 minutes), and I asked my dancer what the difference in going to the private room. She said it's private (naturally), and obviously longer, but she didn't really hint at any more clothes coming off. It might just be her preference. She mentioned that sometimes the customers get a little too touchy-feely in this place, so maybe she's just had bad experiences there and now tries to steer people away from the private rooms for her own reasons. Well, we were having fun, so I asked her to stretch one dance into two. She was really into it, which is most important in my book. My hands were allowed to roam a bit, which doesn't hurt either. While I haven't been to too many clubs in my life, I've had enough dances to know that this girl really knew what she was doing. Most other dances I've had would either be lacking in eye contact or grinding, and they certainly didn't allow any touching, not even on the hips. And none of those other dancers have ever made it look like they actually wanted to be on top of my lap. On top of that, after the dances were done, I asked her a few questions about the club (I was there on an info-gathering missioner, remember). She was all too happy to give her own impressions of the place. I paid her for the two dances plus a fat tip for the additional info. For what it's worth, she said that the racial make-up of the dancers on other nights (or earlier on that night) is about the same as what I saw while I was there. Since my friend is really into Latinas (and marrying one, I might add), we will be taking him somewhere where he can have a few more choices in that direction. But while that information ultimately will steer the bachelor party elsewhere, I had a good time while I was there. The girls make or break the place, and my dancer was worth every penny. That's why the value rating is higher than the dancer rating. As for the club itself... well... it was a little brighter than most (less black light than I'm used to), and the wait staff, bouncers, etc, were all nice to me. Forcing me into buying to waters for a total of $12 plus tip, on the other hand, didn't sit too well (the bottles weren't even full-sized). Obviously, because I dropped by at 2 in the morning, the place might be very different earlier in the evening. I didn't ask the dancer if there are MORE girls earlier in the evening, but if I ever go back, I'll make sure it's during a more peak time. Bottom line... It's a mixed bag. Your mileage may vary.
