  Well, I viewed your "city" from the air. Remove the University, and a cornfield with a couple factories is all there is. Nothing wrong with that. A 10-minute drive in any direction from Champaign-Urbana ground zero is rural. Period. The USDA classifies 90%+ of your county as such.
