This bar has been closed since September 2025 due to a fire. There's no indication that it will reopen any time in the foreseeable future. There's signage on the exterior from the municipality stating that the premises is shut down.

OldyellerI never thought I'd see the day but Paradizios is back as of 8/19/22. For those of you unfamiliar, this is a favorite dive bar of mine located in the heart of Irvington's downtown, a block from the Irvington bus station and across the street from the car dealership on Springfield Ave. As I said before, it's a dive bar so don't expect top notch clientle or staff. It's most of the same crowd from Vics. The cover was steeper than before it's closing. $20 at the door. Heinekens are $8. "VIP" is $20. From what I can tell, it's the same menu as before which means your money goes a LONG way in the back. Highest of mileage. The bar itself is cleaner than before. For those who've never been, there is a short hallway where the club collects the cover, then you walk into a lobby where the L shaped bar covers the room halfway and then all the way to the back where the lapdance "rooms" are. The rooms are really sections partitioned off with thick opaque curtains where, while small, do provide some sort of privacy. Not nearly as big as before but good enough. If you decide to partake with your provider of choice you can easily use the sections that are empty for your enjoyment. Only drawback is that the seats are wooden boxes and there is no cushioning for the ladies to kneel, which can be obviously problematic. I hope they fix that. Other than that it seems not much has changed. The new owners did try to bring new bartenders who look like they belong in a much more upscale club by their looks but were too young to get over their own sense of entitlement (ignoring the customers who they didn't think were "cute", wearing an idiotic amount of jewelry, unless you ACTIVELY sought their attention to get a drink). I'd return simply because a $20 cover is a small price to pay for a sense of pre-pandemic normalcy at a club that seems to be just as reliable for entertainment as it was before. I hope I get credit for this review!
