Was nothing that great anyways, had plenty of girls with missing teeth. The drinks where expensive and the place was more of a small corner bar to be a strip club. Barely any space to sit down to just have a drink. Extremely crowded and you just felt dirty walking into the bar

For any of those who are concerned, the Hideaway closed a few weeks back. I guess lack of money did them in. There is a kind of humorous note in the front window thanking all the regular customers and sticking it to the nay sayers. I don't know what Jimmy did all these years to keep this place going, but they sure didn't last long after he died.

I am a regular at this club. Although it's a 'bikini' bar, I usually enjoy this place a LOT more than most nude or topless clubs. Girls are usually 6-10 on a scale of 1-10. Lap Dances are very friendly and most of the girls are very qualified at making dances enjoyable. Sometimes a bad dancer may try to rip you off - (esp. if you've had too much to drink - LOL). The club catches on quick and they don't last very long here. It's a very friendly bar and staff, and they treat the regulars very well here. If you want a good dance and some eye candy - this is a good choice.

I pass through Rockford often, but not usually when the clubs are open. Last week at 8pm on a tuesday, I gave Hideaway a try. Atmosphere and decor were adequate. Four girls were working, ranging from 4 to 7 on the stripper scale, one at a time on the stage. They each danced two dances in bikini outfits without removing anything. The stage is set up to stand in front at a rail when tipping the dancers. I did this twice during the second song and nothing further was removed. One girl sort of leaned forward and pulled her top out a little. One other customer was sitting with two girls buying them drinks. He went in back with one of the girls and emerged about three minutes later. He did not look happy. I had had enough. No Come Back!

The few times I've been here there have been a couple decent women with several other not so decent. More like a neighborhood bar that happens to have some strippers hanging out. Private dances are done in a little alcove in back -- some OK grindage but no extras that I have seen. A little too downscale in my opinion.

Yep, a 7. There was a pretty fair number of decent looking women for a change. There was a young brunette that was actually hot and another very sexy girl named Joy. I didn't get a chance to do any dances with her as she left right after I tipped the hell out of her on stage. Of course, there's always the manditory really skanky couple of dancers, but overall, things were good. One different thing is that they now have a "dj" who plays mostly bad 80's music. No idea why, but most of the girls were not happy having to dance to it. Perhaps Jimmy thought he was attracting too much of the hip hop crowd.

Stopped in a week ago and saw an absolutely smoking black dancer. Kind of a Tyra Banks look alike, but taller. I did sample a couple of dances with Caddy which were ok, but nothing to want a repeat performance. Overall, Jimmy seems to have upgraded the quality of dancers, but there's always one or two that make you turn away from the stage.

Finally, Jimmy decided to spend some money and redid the look of the bar. New carpet, new lighting, it looks much better. Pretty hopping on a Saturday night, and aside from the usual few Hideaway heffers, the talent wasn't too bad. A few black dancers with smoking bodies, and a white one that wasn't your usual white trash type. She actually seemed intelligent, in addition to being a looker.

Stopped in for a beer for the first time in a couple of months. They're charging a $2 cover now at the door which entitles you to some nasty looking chicken. One of the dancers was so hungry that she couldn't wait until after her set was done to enjoy some of the bird on stage. Quite amusing as she waved the drumstick around while screaming "I love food. I'm so hungry, I can't wait." Thing was she was a petite little thing, where most of the other dancers looked like they've been sampling the chicken buffet a little too much. Somewhat of a thin crowd for a Saturday night.
