They recently put a portable sign by the side of Hwy. 59 containing the words "Gentlemen's Club," so when I drove past this when going northbound a few days ago I did a double-take. The space is large and open, and there is one cowboy-bar remnant. The bar itself is well designed, well organized and nicely lit, and the DJ was friendly and personable, while the sound quality was very good, especially given the volume of open space. Smoking is allowed, which makes Alabama different from many other states, and I'm not happy with this fact. The bar stools were really uncomfortable for me, so after a while I shifted to a table near the stage, which is in a corner. There is a traditional stripper pole and a thick plexiglass tube with an orange color bubbler mechanism, which was generally ignored by the dancers. The club does open at 5:00 p.m., but no dancers were on the floor until 7:00 p.m. when they started to flock to the bar. One finally went on stage about 30 minutes later, and each dancer does two songs. The talent and beauty available that night really varied. One girl was extremely overweight, another was a bit chubby but passable and she was pleasant to chat with, and the two others were genuinely attractive. Costumes also varied, ranging from street clothes to upscale Victoria's Secret quality lingerie. There are two booths next to the stage for personal dances, and the charge is $25 for an air dance (i.e., zero contact). Two dancers made this very clear to me. If you like contact, you will have to drive to clubs in either Mobile or Pensacola, which from this location can take from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the destination. Because I'm less than 10 minutes from this place, I'm expecting to become a regular in spite of the smoking and the zero touching lap dance policy, because I'm always happiest in the company of scantily clad women. My previous home club when I was in South Jersey, the Erotic Cafe, featured nude strippers much of the time, there was plenty of mutual touching and groping even at the bar, and the doings in the VIP back areas were totally outrageous. Half of that stuff is probably still illegal in Alabama!!!

I really have to hand it to the owners of this club, I didn't even think it was legal to open a club like this in Baldwin County. There is so much potential for this place to be a gold mine, I would consider changing the name and theme to avoid the country honkey tonk vibe. I have only been once, and where as I was disappointed, I have to say I wasn't surprised. Two pool tables, descent size bar. Friendly enough staff. Seriously though your trying to sell the dancers, the name should reflect the girls... You are the only show in town, there is so much room to grow. The girls on the night I was there, were kind of what I would expect. Not very skilled, not very attractive, would have maid better waitresses at most strip clubs. There were two that were very attractive, but they stayed in one place and never circulated the room. I don't fault anyone except management the girls are trying... The club is 10 miles from the beach and is a bikini bar try to play off that as a concept. You have three months before spring break hits advertise advertise advertise... There really is so much potential at the club, just a real lack of vision right now. Good luck!
