NYC was bailed out in the 1970s "I Love New York" and as I recall they paid the Fed back. The S&L Crash in the mif-1980s had the RTC and foreclosures dealt with it to pay back the RTC. The 2008 "Stimulus" was payback to Marxist Obama's supporters - Solyndra was the "poster child." And really, ramming speed of DSA happened in 2008.
