Never been to Pleasure Dome but I'd try it because my experiences at Platinum Plus have been abysmal. See my recent review
Pleasure Dome is the clear winner. But, I would only bother with Pleasure Dome if going after 8pm on a Friday or Saturday night, as there generally isn't much going on there other days and times.
If you're okay with a bar-type atmosphere with dancers behind the bar, but still offering LDs and VIPs, The Fox in Bath is another option near Allentown.
