The Cubans will try to hustle you, especially if you got a dance from 2 at a time and are pretty fucked up from drinks. Keeping count on your own -- and also a bit of Spanish so you can hear them talk to eachother -- will prevent you from overpaying like I almost did. They might try to wear you down with tip requests, but again, be reasonable and they will kiss you goodbye and leave you be.

Oh, thanks so very much for that advice. I think I just figured out what I've been doing wrong for the last 40 years, and why my wallet's always empty.
