What’s the deal with security taking a photo upon entry? Do they do that all the time, or just during post midnight rush? I’m looking forward to going, but not so thrilled about that part

And why would the club make a big deal out of it? They could obviously take your picture without your knowing. Maybe they just want to plant that seed in your mind that they have recorded you, so you'd better behave.
