WEST PARK, Fla. – A man was shot early Monday morning outside a strip club in West Park, authorities confirmed.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the shooting was reported just before 2:30 a.m. near the 5700 block of West Hallandale Beach Boulevard.

Local 10 cameras captured Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue personnel at the scene outside the Playhouse Gentlemen’s Club.

Deputies confirmed that they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

He was transported by paramedics to a local hospital.

According to authorities, detectives later discovered that the victim had been shot during a robbery.

It’s unclear exactly what was taken.

Detectives with BSO’s Crime Scene and Robbery Units are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

No arrests have been made.
