Wanted to do a review settled for a discussion.

Went to Lace on Monday, while not expecting much I was expecting SOMETHING. Arrived a little after 9pm and there were a few cars in the parking lot so hopes were raised just a little bit but as I will detail later, was more disappointed than expected.
Layout:
Upon entering to the right is a sunken room with a stage and two poles with seats at stage level and multiple tables and chairs. This area looks like it could be pretty active on weekends or during its prime, but on my visit it was dark and empty.
Directly ahead is another stage with a bar on three sides. In front of the bar stools are 5 tv's. Two on either side were showing that night's football game while the center tv had a loop of highlights from the bar. Based on what I saw the reels appear to be a few years old as some of the entertainers I remember seeing were Katie Morgan, Vanessa Rodrigues, and Tori (Black?)(Lane?) and they appeared to be quite in their prime.
Bartender:
The bartender on duty was very attentive and made sure that the other patrons, approximately 10 including myself, were sufficiently "hydrated". I started with a $6 bottle of water. There appeared to be a few beers on tap and wanted to try one or two later but it was not to be.
Entertainer:
When I arrived there was one dancer that was either light skinned AA or South American, I could not tell if she had an accent or not. She was on stage for about 5 minutes before she went for her dollar rounds. After her rounds she disappeared and that was it. I stayed around for another 2 hours and nobody else showed up on stage or even did rounds.
Cost:
I wish I knew. The only dancer there vanished without offering VIP or even a dance.
Summary:
As there was only one entertainer that vanished after her set, I could not even ask for the cost & time of a standard or VIP dance. The bartender did try to entertain the PL's that were there, but as she was the only person there I could understand why she could not spend a lot of time with the various patrons.
As mentioned, I wanted to do a review, but the only information I got was the price of a bottled water, not even a beer. I had low expectations as I was going on a Monday but even that bar wasn't met. After almost 2 hours of waiting around for someone else or the previous dancer to take the stage I cut my losses and left $11 lighter ($6 beer $4 bar tip $1 dancer tip).
Will try again on either Friday or Saturday, and hopefully will be able to provide a proper review.

I was there once a couple years ago. It was very slow but they had a decent number of women. On that occasion, they had a clutch of decent looking mostly young Eastern European women who were being shuttled over from Brooklyn. Nice enough to keep company with but dances were strictly PG-rated. Seemed like a decent place to hang if I was staying nearby and not looking to nut. Will have to rethink
