Closed by Fire Marshall?

I haven't been in a few months, but a friend that frequents Lusty's told me that it was shut down on Monday for not making the required upgrades to bring it up to code after the most recent fire in May. Considering that was the club's second fire in just over a year I'm surprised the fire marshall let them reopen when they did without making the changes. Apparently they gave them six months to make several changes and the owner has not done any of them.

He said he was told by one of the girls there that the dancers don't expect them to be able to reopen and that the owner isn't responding to any of their questions. Most of the girls have moved to OGD like they did when it was closed for the two fires and a couple have ended up at other clubs. Not sure which girls have gone where since I haven't been to Akron since June.

It's a shame because occasionally you could find a great girl there, but overall it was a run down dump where 90% of the girls weren't even worth the cheap extras.

It was open at least like a month ago
