My favorite club is about 85% Cuban on day shift. Evil is pretty strong. They do treat it as a job. Punch the clock in and out. They do extras. They don't talk much since most speak very little English. They don't hustle you for drinks and don't appear to use drugs.
If you want more than sex, find another source.
@shadowcat Evil in what way?
@ Shadowcat, ditto ^
I've visited two clubs earlier this year which are staffed overwhelmingly by Cubanas - Chica Locas in Houston and Baby Dolls in Dallas.
I'll confirm that they're not conversational to English speakers, often not even the slightest effort. For example, at Baby Dolls we reached the lap dance area halfway through a song, so we were waiting for the next song and she was busy on her mobile device rather than attempting to talk to me.
The girls at Baby Dolls were willing to use their hand in the equipment area (rubbing over pants) for standard lapdance price. I didn't get any extra mileage at Chica Locas.
I avoid those clubs now so avoid the Cubanas.
@Boomey before you give up on Chicas Locas, if they're still there, give Leti, Cynthia and Clarissa a try. I met them on the Saturday day shift. Leti likes practicing her English.
Have you been to Cuba? You have to be a hustler to survive, these girls have done unspeakable things to be able to make it, they have 0 time for conversation, they are here to make $$$$ not be your friend.
@jusflor IMO it does not matter if they are “all business” as long as they provide service. I noticed that some of the worst scammers/low mileage girls made extensive effort to be good conversationalists. Essentially because they were either very poor mileage or no extras, they had to focus on conversationalism to try to sell dances
I am not a fan of Latina dancers, but Cuban ones are not the worst of that lot. There seems to be a cultural or linguistic disconnect that does not work for me. Why? They are often too aggressive, grabby, and not respectful of normal dancer boundaries. I get it, they have to make rent. But there is still the matter of my skinny body size preference and beauty preferences that do not lend themselves to liking Latinas. I visited Baby Dolls in Dallas during the day last Saturday and I almost immediately walked out because of the heavy dose of Latinas working there.
@BASP the Cubans have their own bills, and they have to send money to family in Cuba to keep them from being destitute. They have to pay a 10% fee on money they send, unless they or someone they trust is going for a visit, and can hand deliver it.
@ilbbaicnl That could be said for girls from many of the various nationalities. But again, the Cubans are not even the worst of them. It is the Venezuelans, Colombians, who behave worse. Most girls in the industry have similar stories of dire financial need and struggle. But it does not justify obnoxious and predatory behavior no matter how many hungry mouths they are working to feed. For the record, Latin girls who were born, raised and educated here in the States are never a problem for me at all. It is only the new arrivals who behave that way and their dire personal circumstances are no justification.
@BASP The places where I've gotten dances from Cubans are South of Chicago, Las Vegas, Houston and Atlanta. They were below-average scammy. I haven't really seen a correlation with ethnicity. There are Cuban door vultures at Chicas Bonitas in Vegas. But there are door vultures, of various ethnicities, at all the Vegas clubs I've been to. Strippers are more likely to be carnies than average, but most are not. With the non-carnies, the more the percentage of their income they make from regulars, the less scammy they are.
@ilbbaicnl All strippers have some measure of "scamminess" in them because the job lends itself to that. Ironically, I have never had a Latina dancer scam me (probably because I don't choose them for anything). But scamminess was never my complaint about them. My complaint was about their aggressive, bothersome, physically grabby behavior, and not being as respectful of normal boundaries as the non-Latina dancers. If your experience has been different, I'm happy for you.
@BASP that sounds racist. Are you Icey trying to mask your posts as more professional sounding. Icey hated latina dancers because of the availability of extras
In my limited experience here in Indianapolis Cuban strippers do not do well because there is still an expectation this far north that the girls learn English at least well enough to listen to what a customer wants. Also, they are out to make a quick buck. That works in a tourist city but not here where the clubs have lots of repeat customers who head for the strippers that have provided good customer service in the past. We do not have lots of extras here so looks and personality play a bigger role in making choices.
