MIAMI - Police are investigating an early-morning fatal shooting in Sunrise.

Authorities said it happened at around 2 a.m. outside the Goldfinger Club off University Drive, just north of Oakland Park Boulevard.

Police had cordoned off the parking lot of the strip mall with yellow crime-scene tape.

CBS News Miami cameras captured a yellow tarp covering the body of a man.

Police have not yet identified the body.

I haven’t been here in forever, sounds like with Vegas Cabaret closed they must be getting some of their old customers. Goldfingers used to be a pretty nice place.

It seems that shootings at clubs occur during the wee hours of the morning and rarely, if ever, during the afternoon or evening hours. I try to schedule my club times to avoid the higher risk hours.
