San diego clubs policy ok dances

Is it true that no topless on san diego clubs? One of the dancers told me. Is this true ? Does things get different in private?

There is topless stage dancing with alcohol at only 2 clubs in San Diego. There are also a few nude clubs without alcohol. I've lived in San Diego, off and on, since the late 80's. It's not a destination spot for guys that like strip clubs and has gotten progressively worse over time. So much so, that I would rather travel to clubs in other states than spend my money in clubs in San Diego.
