SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio fire crews spent over an hour knocking down a roof fire at a Northeast side strip club.
The fire broke out around 10 a.m. Wednesday at the San Antonio's Men's Club according to the San Antonio Fire Department.
The smoke was seen rising from the metal roof when they arrived and firefighters had major difficulties trying to put the blaze out.
The San Antonio Fire Chief, Charles Hood shared, "This is a really labor intensive job for us because we could not access the fire from underneath. We had to go up on the roof, and as you saw, use tools and saws to cut into that roof structure."
Fire officials share that there were no injuries reported and no one was inside at the time.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
