Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse police say they are looking for two males who walked into a strip club early Monday and robbed workers of more than $10,000.

The armed robbery happened around 2:20 a.m. at Lookers, 1400 N. Salina St., Syracuse police spokesman Lt. Matthew Malinowski said. The masked suspects entered the strip club through a back door and were armed with handguns, he said.

The suspects took more than $10,000 in cash from the staff and then left in a vehicle, Malinowski said.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Syracuse police say they are still investigating the armed robbery and ask anyone with information to call them at (315) 442-5222.

Incidents like this seem to often have some kinda inside-job connection

2:20AM, back door? They had cased the joint, or an ex-dancer told her boyfriend what to do. It's quiet and dark and off the main street, and there's usually a manager or dancer smoking back there.

with the ubiquity of cameras these days, they'll probably get caught.
