A person is dead after an early morning shooting at The Ball Gentleman’s Club on Alcoa Highway, according to Knoxville police.
Dispatch got a call about a shooting and sent officers to the strip club around 4 a.m. on Sunday. When they arrived, an adult male victim with a gunshot wounds was found in the parking lot and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are searching for the shooting suspect, who fled the scene on foot.
Investigators are looking into the circumstances that led to the shooting. I grew up there, some years ago a bouncer was hit by an arrow or crossbow bolt in the parking lot after they kicked someone out. Always made sure I was out of there before the drunk rednecks would roll in there at 2am when the bars closed down around there.
