Ah jeez. I wonder whether at this point these clubs are just staying closed voluntarily because they just don’t feel like dealing with it. If Players was able to crawl itself out of its hole quickly enough, I don’t understand why these other places *have* to be shut down.
That must be it, I can't think of any other reason why VCG would allow 3 of their 5 clubs in this area to remain closed, Centerfolds and Show Club have been closed for almost 3 weeks.
Does Denver have a limit on capacity right now? I've seen some clubs (and restaurants and bars) say that it doesn't make financial sense to open if they can't allow their normal volume of customers.
Also, are other clubs in the area busy? Lack of crowds at other clubs could also make them reconsider opening right now.
Denver has instituted a 25 foot rule for stage dancing and La Bo just could not accommodate that. At the Diamond Cabaret, they have to use the shower as a stage and set up a 2nd stage against the back wall in the Bottle Serve area with the distance roped off. No other stages are open. I have also heard that there are clear 'curtains' in the private dance areas for non-contact privates.
Well according to what a dancer just said, Centerfolds is projected to open late September. Showclub is rumored that it may just stay shut forever. No world on LaBo just yet.
