One of our denial systems is Psychotherapy and the Mental Health System. These exist to denigrate the survivors of abuses, and to make them believe that they are the source of their distress, not the people who have taken advantage of them.
And of course our politics completely revolves around targeting poor people.

So then trying to enforce the work ethic actually costs out society, rather than benefiting out society.
What has happened is that this Financialiser Class, along with this Retirement Industry, as emerged, and they have STOLEN our Peace Dividend and STOLEN the Advanced Technology Dividend.
And then the Work Ethic, a bogus ethic because everyone wants to do well and be respected by friends and family, this Work Ethic is like the religious idea of Original Sin. It is simply a way of denigrating working people. And the Financializers need this in order to be able to ride on their backs.
