After having a bit of an identity crisis a few

After having a bit of an identity crisis a few years ago, going by names like Brooklyn and (not-spearmint) Rhino for only a few months, Heart Breakers settled back in on the name it had when it was most famous for advertising in the newspaper and with a plane-trailing banner circling Milwaukee County Stadium. The original Heart Breakers was a gritty, down-and-dirty place that was "very Stallis," in that it became primarily a biker strip club in later years. The first name change brought an extensive gutting and remodel that has largely stood up ever since. The place is small but actually pretty nice.

Heart Breakers can be a little disorienting when you walk in, but you eventually figure out there are three stages, one on the "back" bar and two connected near the "front" bar, and a VIP lounge in the back. Other than that, lappers are fairly standard and largely hands off. There are "champagne rooms," but they look more like booths to me, and my guess is little goes on in there, particularly since there was an issue that made the news a couple years ago with the place being a front for some more-nefarious things in the back.

Heart Breakers is a level, maybe two, beneath Milwaukee's highest quality options, Silk and OTB. But among less glamorous options like Texas Jays, Spot Lite and [eyeroll] Art's Performing Center, it's probably atop the heap.
