My birthday is going to be on a friday this year and me and some of the guys are planning on hitting the town pretty hard. We're going to do some clubbing/bar hopping in Ybor and then we're going to cap the whole night off with a special visit to Mons. I've heard incredible things about this club (despite the fact that I have never been there). It has a legendary reputation and it's considered to be the gold standard by which other clubs are measured by. I went to 2001 Odyssey last weekend with a friend and had an awesome time. However it seems like most people consider Mons to be the superior club. So, I must ask...has anyone had/been to a bday party at Mons before? If so, are there any discounts/dance specials or bday specials? Would you recommend a bday party there? Any info would be greatly appreciated! (and yes, I know about the "special stage dance" that the groom to be gets at bachelor parties held there lol)
