New club for Columbus, OH

Somehow I get a mental picture of Sam camped out on the sidewalk outside, lol.

lol I did make a drive past it and I did see they had a new sign saying "Escape" and it was lit up but no cars in the parking lot.

It is exciting to have a new club open up in the route 161 area (where most of the columbus strip clubs are) but I am guessing the dancers will be the same losers already working at the surrounding clubs like club x, doll house, and dreamgirls. The last strip club that opened in that area was whispers cabaret and closed down after 6 months.

Prim0, the new ohio night vision has an ad for House of Babes advertising $10 dances all the time. I have read in reviews that it is a low mileage place though.

I talked to someone that used to work at dockside dolls in the rock band that used to play during their rockside doll promotion. He said the place is no longer allowed to have a liquor license due to criminal history. So maybe this is going to be a nude/byob place. That area could use a nude club considering it already has 3 topless clubs within a 5 minute drive.

There is a Club Escape in Beaver Falls, PA so maybe this is going to be related and part of a chain. According to the club escape reviews in PA it is $20 cover but includes free soft drinks. I also tried checking out their website but you need login information that I don't have.

Also found out there is a swingers club in cleveland by the name club escape.

My hopes for this columbus club are not set too high though because already Lollipops and whispers cabaret closed down in 2010 and those clubs are just 2 minutes away on route 161.

I think they are just overpricing themselves. One or two "high end" high priced clubs in a city or our size might work but we need some middle of the road joints with decent looking women with decent mileage for around $20 a dance in semi-private booths.

Columbus does not really have any "high end" clubs in terms of physical club but they sure price themselves as if they are fancy clubs with $30-50 lap dances. In Detroit, several of the strip clubs had elevators in them.

I agree with you Prim0! I have complained to managers before about the prices on slow nights telling them if they lowered the lap dance prices I would be in the LD area but they just tell me to wait for uptimes instead. I want to buy lap dances when I feel like it not when some DJ acting like the king of the club tells me it is time.
