The club is open Tuesday-Saturday, hours are 6PM-12:45AM Tues.-Thu; 6PM-1:45AM Friday&Saturday. On entering, you are confronted by the doorman who collects you entrance fee (the information on this site is wrong, BTW, cover charge is only $5) and you are in the bar. This is a small bar, around half a dozen stools facing a full bar (Heartbreakers got a liquor license some time back) and two pool tables. Directly opposite the entrance is the doorway leading to the back part of the club where the "private" rooms are. To your right is the entrance to the stage area. The stage area holds roughly a dozen tables, some along the walls and the rest scattered around the floor area. There are also four booths, curtained-off areas where the women can dance with a customer, but more on that in a moment. The stage has a  "reverse runway" lay-out, with a narrow section coming from where the dancers get on the stage leading to the front, which is a wider area with two poles, one on either side of a central area. All of this is not above two feet above the floor level, so the ladies are right at your level while you're setting at the rail.

The mix of women dancing is nearly all white, with the exception of one African-American woman. Like most smaller clubs, the bulk of the women working at Heartbreakers run in the "average" range as far as looks go, but there are two-to-three women who push the 10 region hard. On week nights, there are usually only three to four dancers working, but on the weekends, the number goes up to eight to nine. It's not uncommon on a week night to go into the club and find yourself the only customer if you get there early, and the crowd rarely gets very large. Weekends are much busier, but it isn't all that hard to find the club inhabited by as few a four or five customers early on. In either case, you find yourself getting a lot of attention from the ladies. Most of them will set down and chat with you, and if you show them some interest, they will willingly talk, but the aim is the same: to get you to do a dance with them.

On stage, the women strip down to g-strings and go through the usual poses and positions. Tips when the ladies are on stage are the usual, and you get to stand up and let them put their titties around your face, but while they're on stage, the rules are pretty strictly enforced: hands off. After the women finish their set (three songs is the rule) they go off stage to get dressed, then come out to circulate among the customers. Heavy tippers will usually get first attention, but if you indicate you want a woman to come over, she usually will. Their main pitch is for the "fantasy" dance. This is the one where you go in the back with the woman. This is $35 for a song, or three for $90. The booths, which the women don't like, offer a dance too, for $20. In both cases, the woman gets completely naked. The difference: in the booths in the stage area, you can't touch, while in the private rooms in the back you can let your hands roam pretty freely. How freely is a matter of debate though. Most of the women will tell you that you can put your hands anywhere as long as you don't touch their pussy or their nipples. Others say you can't touch their breasts at all, so you should be careful to ask before you roam, as the rooms have doors, but those doors have peepholes like an apartment door, and the bouncers routinely check to make sure everything is on the up-and-up.
