Cubans

I know I'm going to get shit for this, but can somebody here tell me what the deal with Cuban dancers is?

Sometimes I'll be looking through tuscl here and the writer will say something like: 'I walked in the club and saw too many Cubans and knew it was going to be a rough night,' or 'could be a good time if you like messing around with Cubans,' that type of thing. It seems like there is an understood characterization that I'm not familiar with. I've only been to clubs around the East Coast and part of the Midwest and while I've met some cool Hispanic ladies, none of them were Cuban.

The general tone of identifying Cubans seems to lean negative, but from context it seems like Cuban dancers are:
-very curvy, typically big butts, not exactly skinny (I have no problem with this)
-often offer higher milage dances with extras (sounds good)
-don't usually speak very good English (maybe not ideal, but whatever)
-kind of look after each other? -seems like guys talk about a lot of Cubans at any one club, not just one or two (ok, smart)
-maybe don't ask for a lot of money, but sort of expect it? - is this the issue? sometimes sounds like they offer high mileage for cheap, but then get mad when you don't give them more ...? I don't get it, which is it?
-maybe there's just an understood racism, but doesn't seem like most people here complain about Hispanic dancers generally, just Cubans, so I'm just confused
What am I missing?

Please someone spell out for me what you mean when you mention Cubans. I'm heading South this summer into Cuban club territory and want to know what to expect if I get a chance to visit some of them.
