I wanted to write this article on the stigma around traveling alone to zona norte. In my travels across the border I found that it is not as “scary” as some mongers claim/write it to be. I’ve gone around 5 times now and realize it’s all in how you interact with people. Don’t cause a scene or draw crazy attention to yourself. Be nice and tip everyone inside the clubs. Don’t roam the streets and you will be fine. P.s. I’m a black American that doesn’t speak any Spanish.
