Playhouse on my mind

Every time something brings me to the area of south Jersey I can’t help but ponder a trip to Playhouse Lounge.

I haven’t been since before the pandemic but I had to visit philly got something so I decided maybe I’d try playhouse on an evening. Something I’ve never considered before. I called to ask for the schedule since it’s no longer posted and the barmaid asked who I was looking for. All I know is that Andrea and Jolie aren’t on tonight but reliable Cayenne is. Who else is dancing? There’s only one way to find out now. So I drive in anticipation of who I may encounter but knowing that the reliable dancer is there if I need it. What is it like visiting at the tail end of the pandemic? Will it be busy? Will I encounter some new lovely ladies I’ve never seen before?

Time will tell and as the anticipation builds so does the desire to run into some of the old faithfuls I’ve encountered over the years. This place never seems to disappoint. But some nights are certainly better than others. And with nothing else nearby - there’s no turning back once you decide to drop in. So it better have been with it. See you all soon in the reviews...
