Cheerleaders - Not much to cheer about

Dropped by Cheerleaders Philadelphia on Wednesday afternoon around 3pm. No cover charge. Bought a Scotch and soda ($9.50!) from a cute but not too friendly bartender. Under 10 dancers in the club. Under 20 customers. Settled in and was immediately approached by a 5'9" woman of color. I estimate late 20s. Did not get her name but she was very attractive and very intelligent. She bought herself a drink (!) and we talked for 10 minutes until her next stage dance. After her dance she returned, asked for a tip, similed and moved on. I sat for another 15-20 minutes and was not approached by another dancer. They all seem to have paired up with their regular customers.

Came in not expecting much and my low expectations were met. This is not a club to visit during the daytime. Try the Playhouse in NJ about 30 minutes north of here. Been at Cheerleaders previously on a Friday night in August, and the place was packed with beautiful, young, friendly dancers. Don't think I'll be returning anytime soon, since the dancer I spoke to said that the place turns into a ghost town after football season. Too bad.
