Beach Girls - Des Moines

On Saturday my wife and I were traveling through Des Moines. Since we had some errands that took us to West Des Moines, we decided to stay on that side of town and try Beach Girls for the first time. While Beach Girls is kind of out in the country, it is a very short cab ride from a couple motels on Mills Civic Parkway. Those motels, however, are quite pricy.

We arrived at Beach Girls early in the evening. The staff was friendly, and the layout of the place was nice. It is basically two stages with a walkway between. There are pool tables and darts at the far end, next to the restrooms. The chairs were nice and comfortable, and everything seemed to be clean and well maintained.

I don't like when reviewers are critical of the dancer's appearance. However the first two dancers we saw really should consider another line of work. I don't know how they got past an audition.

Pretty soon the night shift started to arrive and they were much better looking. Several of the dancers would take my hands and put them on their breasts, which was really nice compared to the “limited touch” policy on the stage at other places. I'd estimate there were about 12 different dancers that night.

Our biggest disappointment was that the dancers seemed to ignore our interest in private dances. Perhaps they've had bad experiences with wives who really didn't want to be there, but all of the other places we've gone have quickly figured out that we are both there to have a good time. One dancer even finished her set, then went and played pool by herself. I guess she didn't care that I had a billfold full of $100's, and all she needed to do was come over and visit, after we'd showed interest in her while she was dancing.

I finally gave up on the dancers and approached a girl who wasn't dancing, but said she only did private dances. It turns out her name is Sparkle, and we went with her for a very nice private dance. She was very attractive and provided lots of attention to both my wife and I.

Next time we're in the area, we won't risk being ignored again at Beach Girls. We'll be back at Minx, where we get all the attention we can afford.
