Spearmint Rhino City of Industry Review

I live in Chicago but come to LA for business frequently and have visited the Spearmint Rhino in the City of Industry many times over the past five years. Having been to many other clubs in LA as well, in my opinion, Spearmint COI is the best in the area (there is another Rhino in downtown LA which is not nearly as nice.) Parking is easy, the environment is very upscale, and most times the girls are very attractive. If you just come to relax and watch the performers or have a few dances, it's not that expensive, especially if you go to the Spearmint website and register for free admission and get on their regular texting list. "Free" admission is actually five dollars but that handles the cover charge and one drink (no alcohol as it's a fully nude club and that's the law in this area.) Put simply, there are definitely better "deals" for VIP room experiences at places like Deja VU in the same area, but most of the girls at Spearmint are simply just better looking and easier to talk with, and the atmosphere is far more comfortable and upscale.

If you're put off by a server asking you to "buy the lady a drink" a few minutes after she sits down to talk (ten bucks), it's not your kind of place. But if that doesn't bother you, many of the girls are very enjoyable to talk with. Plus it's a great way to get an idea of what "extras" might be available in the VIP or private dance areas. Although they run frequent specials throughout the evening and on some full days (check their site), the basic cost for dances is 20 topless, 40 nude and 160 for 4 dances in the VIP area. They also have a couple private rooms that go much higher but it seems those prices are starting to come down a bit.

As with every club, YMMV is definitely the case here. If you choose a girl for one topless dance, you can get a pretty good idea of what can happen in the VIP areas, and a LOT can happen with the right girl ... nuff said. One of my first times there, during a private dance, I asked the girl what I could expect in the VIP, and she just told me to look at some of the pictures on the walls ... which were pretty graphic images of gorgeous girls in action (ie BJ action). Like I said, a LOT can happen with the right girl. One of my favorites is Alyssa, who has been there for quite some time and is a knockout and offers many options.

So if you're looking for a "high-end" place to spend some time, I'd highly recommend the SR in COI. Even if you just want to stop in and relax for a while without spending heavy dollars, that's definitely possible. The girls will certainly approach to ask if you'd like a dance, but they're very polite if you decline, and you can literally nurse your beverage for a couple hours. All in all ... a good deal in a safe area.
