What not to do

I have found that there are a few methods of getting attention in a club. There is the obvious one of course. The loud annoying guy who pretty much demands attention. I wouldn't really recommend that route, myself. Sure you may get a dance or two but generally the girls will do their best to avoid you. Unless, of course, you have a fat wad of cash.
Another way is to be the silent, sit back and observe type. That can be quite hit or miss. Either you will be seen as mysterious or just some creepy guy sitting by yourself. Obviously you don't want that label attached to you. Because the dancers may not remember your name but they will remember what you do.
The last is to be the polite, non jackass, customer. Talk to the girl like she is a person, not some object to leer at. Buy a drink for her and make some small talk. Tip the waitress and don't avoid the tip rail. They notice who tips and who doesn't. It may cost a few dollars more but you will have a more pleasant experience.
Also when in the VIP room. Follow the dancers lead. Don't assume she will be ok with you grabbing her. Get too pushy and you won't get the best service. They do talk to each other in the break room. And you will be pointed out.
Have fun and enjoy your dance.
