Strip Clubs in Manaus(Brazil)

Brazil is host to a number of strip clubs that go the extra mile- they offer "full service" as well as the traditional shows and lap/table dances.

Manaus is in the northern part of Brazil. Being close to the equator it is alway hot and humid - think Singapore or Malaysia. But the attitude in this country is a lot more free and open than either of those countries.

Prostitution is legal in Brazil.

Remulos is the premiere club in Manaus for dancers. That being said don't expect a really classy club like the ones in other parts of the world. Remulos offers LOTS of girls and most are available for extra duty. The club opens around 7:00p, but doesn't really get hopping until later. A variety of girls go up on a single runway stage and do 2-song sets. Most look pretty bored and range from 1's to some real 9's. There are also a variety of girls just standing about. Unlike U.S. clubs there is no pressure to buy a drink or pay anything besides the cover fee (10 Brazilan Reals - About 6 USD). There is a VIP area for 30 Reals.

Beers are cheap (3 Reais) and no expensive "girl drinks" to worry about.

The girls dance for free and I never saw any tipping going on. If you like what you see (on or off the stage) you can approach the girl. Of course it helps to speak Portuguese or maybe Spanish, but many of the girls speak a little Ingles(English). You can negotiate a price and rent a room (air conditioned and reasonable clean) for 15 Reals. If you don't want to do anything but watch you can spend the whole evening there and just enjoy the sights.

The girls at Remulos also go across the street to another club (same price, but classier environment). There are plenty of other opportunities down the street as well, but they are a bit lower class and a bit scary in terms of the environment and girls. But in general it is quite safe in Manaus compared to Sao Paulo.
