I've been avoiding the chains for many years. I never liked Applebee’s, Chilis, TGIF (it had an interesting singles bar genesis in Manhattan, look it up, with a guy who wanted to meet girls with zero restaurant/bar experience), and similars. What use to be low-cost restaurants have priced themselves out of business due to inflation as they already ran on tight margins and had to raise prices. Their typical customer tends to be lower income than Del Frisco's diners who have a lot of discretionary spending abilities and can suck it up. Even Red Lobsters are closing. I too when I go out, I'll do a locally owned place, as crosscheck said, mom and pops. Boston has a lot of great places from the days I traveled there. Hell, I went to McDonalds last December or so when they had the McRibs. Three McRibs and small fries was $18.00. I went to Shake Shack, just once, and was out ~$18 for a burger, fries and a coke. Fuck THAT! If I want something fast, I look for Arby’s, Chik Filet (if the line is short) or a Culvers. I don’t do lines like at In-N-Out. The ones doing well, not low cost, but not Del Frisco’s scary pricing, are brew pubs and gastros. When home I’ve taken to going to a grocery store and getting a 16 oz tenderloin ($26) or salmon (not Atlantic/farm raised), Heirloom tomatoes ($4/pound), mozzarella and croutons for dinner. I can get 3 good meals which would cost more than just one dinner at a good restaurant. I’m eating at home a LOT more, and I think I’m eating better. I learned to cook from my grandmother. I use to travel 100K miles a year for several years from like 2001 to 2007, now not so much. How a low-income, hard working family of 4 can go out now for a treat once in a while is beyond me.

A lot of us have pointed out what Trump's 4 years are a Royal Flush compared to Biden's 3+ years hot mess we are stewing in. Trump has been very consistent on his messaging/interviews back to a 1986 interview with Oprah, it's on YouTube. Biden and the Dem leadership just say whatever they think the audience wants to hear. So yeah, keep a bathroom at the ready like prepping for a colonoscopy.

Probably so, however, my sense of smell is so bad when I've de-skunked my dogs, it smells like a little swampy water. AI: It kills the human factor/personal "touch" (pun intended). AI has its strengths in warfare, analyzing hacking attempts (Palantir started back like 24 years ago using AI to nail hackers hitting/stealing from PayPal for example), helping to analyze CT/X-Ray/MRI/ect WITH a radiologist, weather predictions, architecture designs (Tech, building, ect) to help make sure nothing is missed, RADAR/SONAR analysis, stuff like that. When it comes to the human touch - art, writing - I'm strongly against it.

^ Whoever defends his own rights defends the rights of all. The majority of those who are loosely identified by the term 'liberals' are afraid to let themselves discover that what they advocate is statism. They want to keep all the advantages and effects of capitalism, while destroying the cause, and they want to establish statism without its necessary effects. They do not want to know or to admit that they are the champions of dictatorship and slavery. - Ayn Rand If you can't see what is happening to Trump yet not to Biden, Schiff, Schumer, Pelosi, et al, you are hopeless. @ilbbaicnl There is way more exposure the past 10 years that use to be done in the dark. Voting machines use to be mechanical, paper ballots use to be done in-person and SAVED. Since 2000 "The Year Of The Hanging Chad" it really changed. And now we have way too much software handling ballots and counting, and way more opportunity for fraud or maybe better put, questionable activity that all sides can bitch about. When I took my Regents, SAT and ACT tests, it was with a #3 pencil and the sheets were read with a mechanical counter. No questions, and it worked. Ballot counting needs to be done in sunlight by all parties being able to reasonably watch - I don't mean like hundreds. After an election, computers, the disks, and routers need to be preserved and available for forensic examination in close, or really questionable, elections. None of these devices should be allowed on the Internet - air gap. Too many times digital devices are destroyed for no reasonable reason. Why? This is why paper and simple tabulators are "safer". Mail-in ballots need to be requested and returned to the County Clerk by 7PM local time cutoff. Voting should not be more than 7 days for the election. And gov't issued ID needs to be required, with proof of citizenship. Voter records needs to be reviewed annually and updated. Residency for at least 90 days. I know, I know, states each have their own rules. A few states, like Texas, won't allow Dominion computers, and it makes you wonder why. Florida had their ballots counted the night of the election, and some states like CA took weeks when 10 years ago we had results pretty efficiently. I remember going to the elementary school (NY) with my parents who used a big black mechanical machine with switches, and we had results on the 11PM news. Even in the 1950s results were available the next day. The more we get electronics involved, the less people trust. In CO, where I live, Ranked Based Voting is being proposed. That's a shit pile of Democracy in Sheep's Clothing. The GA trial with DA Willis has become a real contested fumble fuck with her unqualified mattress mambo partner, questionable accountability with cash trips and documented trips to the WH for a local trial. It's very hard to know what the truth is anymore. I just have to go with what smells somewhat right, and not something even flies would ignore. Years ago, Al Franken's first election was quite questionable regarding the handling of the chain of command with "misplaced" ballots that were found days later that gave the election to Al - wait wait wait, here's more! They should have been tossed. Gov't can apply enough pressure on people who don't have the financial resources to defend themselves and they just give up. The Pence thing was a self-inflicted moronic move and Pence did the right thing. One problem with Trump is he has been an uber micro-manager CEO for decades and that heavily crossed over into his presidency. And Biden has been a Democrat Tool for decades, and tells people what he thinks they want to hear truth or The Twilight Zone, pause. What I know from what we saw on campuses the past 10 days with the Pro-Hamas riots, people from these schools in 10, 20, 30 years will be running things, and that is a real Twight Zone even Rod Serling couldn't dream up.

The 12thA states: President and VP need to be from different states. Most recently this came up with Bush/Cheney being from Texas as Cheney moved from WY to TX to run Halliburton. He then moved his residency back to WY to run as VP w/Bush. originally, the each state got two Electoral Votes as each had 2 Senators. Somewhere, Electors were created so each state got 2 for their Senators (as in the 12thA) and then at some point 1 for each House member so states like Alaska, Delaware, North Dakota get 3. And this is why CA, NY, OH, some others had a reduction in Electors as the 2020 Census reduced the number of House Members they have, and the only reason states with lots of illegals want then counted in the 10-year Census.. In the 2010 Census NY lost 1 as did OH and something other. This is all available from the Census website. In 1960, an Amendment (22 or 23) was passed to let DC have no more Electors (3) than the smallest states (North Dakota, Alaska, ect). Book Guy: Did I answer what you were looking for?

^ "Clinton mistake"? Seriously. Mistake? LIke, he also didn't have sex with Monica or make 20+ trips to Epstein's Pedo Island? And Epstein just happened to commit suicide in the SHU. BTW, I can't think of any stupid simpletons who can build Billion Dollar high-rises in Manhattan, have the vision to buy Mara-a-Logo 36 years ago on the cheap with a value exceeding $1B in 2024, build world class golf country clubs, start to bring peace between ME counties and provide tax rate cuts for lower/middle-class income earners, and really started to deal with Border Security that RINOs and Democrats said they wanted 15 years ago when Trump said he'd do it now they don't want it. BTW, if you believe the Stormy Daniels NDA (common) payoff was election interference, check a calendar. This will all get over-turned on Appeal if convicted. Oh, and I do hope Trump violates the gag order and the Judge puts him in the Tombs for a few days - priceless. Every time something like this happens, Trump's polling increases and voters know, especially Independents and those the courts have been unfair to, this is just a Kangaroo Court. Like today is worse and more dangerous the past 3.5 years than during Trump. When you live in the CNN/MSNBC echo chamber I get it why you think this way. BTW, how was it while you were with the Pro-Hamas Useful Idiots Convention at Columbia University? Looks like they really did have a pizza party. How was the smell? If Trump wins in November, who knows what will happen other than Biden won't be on the ballot, get in a room with CJKent and be sure to video and upload to Rumble your collective nuts exploding like cherry bombs and your dicks shooting off like bottle rocks. What confuses is me is why people see Trump as a "threat". Sure, he was a dirt bag with his family/wives before he was POTUS, not a big secret. And the mean Tweets, oh my. I didn't like his spending at all. When he increased military spending other wasteful programs should have been cut. I never liked his Queen's style of communicating, not at all as it did more harm to him than good. He really expose the MSM and their undying support for anything Democrat good or bad. He was right on the MSM creating propaganda - fake news. We had tax reductions that benefited the lower/middle-classes (look up the IRS data for yourself, it's there). Low unemployment. Record high unemployment for minorities. ISIS was put down like a rabid racoon. AFG was being handled. The Abraham Accord was working for the first time in trying to bring some kind of cooperation to the ME. Iran was bankrupt. Inflation was under 2%. We had an energy surplus and low energy costs. He stopped Russia's NatGas pipeline to Europe. Another thing: he wanted to increase our Strategic Oil Reserves when a barrel of oil was dirt cheap and Congress denied it. Now our reserves are at their lowest level in ~40 years. He fought to build The Wall even with massive Congressional resistance ESPECCIALY when 10 years prior the Dems voted to secure and build a Wall; when Trump wanted to they said no. Polls show people had a better life under 4-years of Trump than the past 3+ years. People forget, Clinton paid $850K when he was POTUS to Paula Jones and it didn't matter, and he had a documented record of dirt bag behavior while Gov of Arkansas with State Troopers assisting. Many trips to Epstein's Island, and Epstein had a painting of Clinton in his NM Ranch in a blue dress, high heels and cum stains on it. Set aside his personal stuff and look at what he accomplished that made life better for American CITIZENS.

^ @Nicespice: I’m still scratching my head at all this. Does anybody have any ideas what is driving a lot of these attitudes? This is long, get a beer. BTW, does anyone have access to Does ANYONE have access to: http://www.umich.edu/~marcons/Crusades/timeline/detailedtimeline.html ? (read below why) Leftist Student Indoctrination over 40 years has finally reached critical mass, and Social Media starting in the 2000s poured gas like an accelerant and lit a fire to intensify indoctrination. Radical Islam has been in a global Jihad for over 1,000 years. Many blame the Crusades on the Christians. Islam started their Jihad around 850AD and managed to take North Africa and a good chunk of Southern Europe. Around 1100AD, the Pope said enough and launched the first Christian Crusade to take back Jerusalem/The Holy Land. I use to have access to an excellent timeline for all this from the University of Michigan, now it is password locked, sucks. Does ANYONE have access to: http://www.umich.edu/~marcons/Crusades/timeline/detailedtimeline.html Now, as Iran is close to having a nuke, radical Islam is getting uppity and attacking. Iranian Revolution/Islamic Revolution in 1979 really started the current radical festivities, Beirut Army barracks attack in 1982 by an Iranian Homicide Truck bomb, Serbia/Bosnia/Kosovo in the 1990s – this one is complicated. Serbia is a Christian majority country. Islam is the majority in Kosovo. Islam spread to Serbia during The Ottoman Empire. During the Crusades, the Serbs drove Islam out of Southern Europe, and there has been intense hatred since then. For details, you can look up this 1,000-year hot mess. The WTC bombing in 1992, USS Cole Destroyer attacked in 2000, The WTCs 9-11-2001, Hamas setting up shop in Gaza in 2006/2007 after Israel left its occupation and Hamas became the elected Gov't as an Iranian proxy, Hezbollah and other Iranian radical terrorist proxies grow, ISIS. Yada Yada Yada - you get the idea. Radical Islam still has a global Jihad. Iran uses these terror groups as proxies, and Hamas went on a monstrous rampage on 7-Oct-2023. They’ve managed to gin-up support and have spread to US campuses. A lot of the “peaceful protesters” are not students, and are clueless participants for whatever reason – I put them in the DUMBASS category. These riots have roots to Occupy Wall Street (OWS) in 2011, BLM and other global radical groups. Columbia University hired a solid Hamas supporter “professor”, Joseph Massad, 3 months ago who has been a staunch supporter of Hamas’ murderous invasion of Israel, and applauded it. This would be like John Hopkins Medical University hiring Josef Mengele as a research professor. When we had student protests in the 1960s over Vietnam, it was legit as they were being drafted and sent to a war/conflict they didn’t support. Now we have “protesters” who are dumbass clueless. Try being a LGBT* and you’ll be tossed off a building. Be a woman, and life is going to be brutally bad, and yet so many women are supporting and call themselves “We are Hamas”.

Fake college IDs are being issued to rioters to allow then access to the private school, like Columbia. The cops can enter your house if they have been tipped off to domestic violence or see/hear it. Same can be applied to these private "colleges". They are openly supporting Hamas and Death To Israel and America. This gives voters and idea of what Democrats have done to public ed and colleges with indoctrination. Arrest them: if there are here on a visa, deport ASAP. Americans at these schools had best be expelled, like Omar's kid was at her school who was rounded-up this week rioting at Columbia with a fake college ID. The NYC justice turnstile is working overtime, Who allows this SHIT! I saw one video of a masked girl banging a metal dish on a rail and yelling an a Jewish guy "Israeli PIG!" He laughed. I'll take a step back about 70 years: Jazz on a Summer's Day, 1959: Newport Jazz Festival documentary with scenes of the America's Cup. This documentary created the standard for filming concerts like Woodstock, Shine a Light, and so many more. You'll see a young Sonny Stitt and a real young Gerry Mulligan. I think this may be available on YouTube, and TCM shows it occasionally. The cool thing was Newport Jazz Fest was just so laid-back, not a crazy place, people just enjoying some the greats from that time; Thelonious Monk had a great set. I like Cool Jazz, BeBop, 1950s/1960s era. I was too young to see these guys. While not a sax guy, I did meet Dizzy Gillespie at The Air Force Academy with my 8-year-old step-son. Dizzy gave him a big bear hug and signed his "Giants of Jazz" book. I had seen Dizzy at college a few times. Stan Getz's sax solo: "Girl From Ipanema" (sp??), you know the song; actually I like a lot of Stan Getz stuff,. Cannonball Adderley (sp?) did "Autumn Leaves” with Miles Davis and Art Blakey. John Coltrane's “Theme For Ernie”. Sonny Rollins "St Thomas" (you've heard it). Dick Parry did a great sax on The Pink's "Money". In high school I really liked Blood, Sweat and Tears, and Chicago, Kool and the Gang, Tower Of Power - lots of brass, I was the odd kid. I didn't care about the "Laurel Canyon" bands. My choice of music made my wife nuts. It was just too "unorganized" for her.

I go for dark, light-weight cargo pants & golf/polo shirt. If it is cold, I'll put on a cashmere 1/2 zip sweater over the polo. Why cashmere: not itchy like wool, really warm and VERY soft - I've had girls mention the softness and they get friskier. On cold nights I wear a really nice winter leather coat that is also soft so when girls come around from behind and put their arm/hand on my shoulder it too is a nice first touch. If I'm out on a business trip, I dress in nice business casual with dark light-weight pants (if I know I'll hit a club) and either short or long-sleeve button-up shirt. If it is a high-end gig, I'm in a suit, and my pants are light-weight and an oxford cloth shirt. I like nice clothes. I worked in a men's store while in college, and as a DJ at nights, and in the summer also as a landscaper/tree worker - call me Roger the Shubber - one summer I also sold lobster and steamers on the weekend at one of the Finger Lakes in Central NY. I've seen guys with shorts, not my style. BTW, I'm not like Frasier wearing suits all the time. I dress as the situation calls.

^ The GOP rebuttal was really bad, and I'm a staunch Trump supporter. Her thing was designed to tug at heart strings, something that is way effective with Democrats, not Republicans especially Conservatives; probably worked on Suburban GOP moms, we'll see. I did NOT like it all. Biden was like an angry old man chasing people off his lawn. Sure, that was red meat to the majority of his voters. However, the next day at a Philly fundraiser, he became the Dementia Joe we have been seeing for 2 years. Whatever drugs he was on for SOTU wore off. Four things Biden (or whomever wrote his political stump) blew: 1) Skrinkflation, no one cares about this at a SOTU that they are getting less "snickers" in their Snickers or fewer chips in the bag, and Shrinkflation does Biden a favor as it doesn't appear in the Inflation rate if the item is part of the Rate; 2) Funding for Ukraine - 85% of the war materials are sent from our military's supply and we buy fresh for our stockpile - Manufacturing Made In America would have scored a LOT of points with voters A LOT, like AeroVironment (Zombie Drone manufacturer in VT - can't make this up!) and Raytheon really happy, ie DONATIONS; 3) He said we have 2 enemies, Foreign (in reference to Russia attacking Ukraine), and Domestic (in reference to Republicans/Trump/83M voters) - that was stupid. People see the persecution of Trump, and the lack accountability with Biden over classified docs that were stashed in his garage with zero security, and how to explain all those flow-through LLC, money to The Big Guy, grandkids and family with no services to show for. If the SC denies "Complete Immunity for POTUS" (and they should), Biden could be held accountable after he leaves offices - stay tuned to you Bat Channel how this will play out. 4) Tax the wealthy! Pay their share! Well, Hunter committed tax fraud by not paying on Millions he took in and the Statute of Limitation just happen to expire plus the current tax thing in CA he is being prosecuted for. The LLC Biden had for his speeches and appearances he was paid for after he left office avoided a LOT of taxes by taking a bare minimum salary to avoid SS, Medicare and Medicaid taxes, and allowing the excess income to flow over to his personal return where he'd pay just personal State and Federal taxes. That's not a very good look. Glad you liked it for an angry old white guy trying to chase the kids off his lawn.

Take a step back to the Revolutionary War. That war was fought for freedom from a repressive, taxing King where America had no representation. We beat the world's mightiest military with a rag-tag bunch of Patriots who cared about what they had created. A lot of wanted to stay under UK rule, It worked. America is no longer an "experiment" after +250 years. Socialism and all its variations fails after like 50-70 years - "Socialism works while you have other peoples' money to spend." There was so much contention with creating The US Constitution, it barely passed. What we are seeing morphing today from the UN, Globalists, Soros, public schools/colleges, Democrats and RINOs is the same America we had with Great Britain -central control and rule. States have given up WAY to much power to the Federal Gov't, WAY TOO MUCH. Power and Control is like Crack to a junkie. Polls are painting a radically different picture of what Americans are mad about compared to what we heard from POTUS last night. He disgraced himself with his retort on Laken ("Lincoln") Riley, and didn't talk about Illegal Immigration until 50% of the way into it. What will we look like in 30 years, no idea. I just know the direction we are headed is not good based on what America was founded on. I have nothing to lose supporting Trump and new Republicans as I'm living the direction we are headed. At the end of "John Carpenter's The Thing", MacReady and Childs are sitting in the snow with the station burning behind them. MacReady says, "Why don't we just wait here a little while? And see what happens." That's where we are today.

^ When you have 2 candidates, she got 25%, the margin for Trump was huge. Biden was losing support from Uncommitted - Ghosts candidates, not real people; that is a vote of No Confidence. Even Haley lost to "Other' in NV. The Dems do all they need to manipulate how their primaries are held as well as our lives. The Dems have "Super Delegates" (what they wear Red Capes with a big D) that can overturn state primaries during the Convention. That is not Democracy, that is a Politburo just as we have WH insiders running the Executive branch most likely with hardcore Obama minions we never voted for. Biden is just a Tool as are way too Democrats. The Republicans are not united like the Dems and I see that as better, not great. Certainly, ALL media has a agenda. And yes, you need to pull information from multiple sources like 1440 News Digest, and I do. That's why I posted IRS data on Trump's tax cuts, not some media outlet that would put a spin on it. How many illegals have crossed in, no one really knows. The "number" has been like 20M since the early 2000s and that is wrong as 20 years later more have crossed. Estimates are 10M with an unknown of got-aways and way too many bangers/criminals. Venezuela won't take them back? Fine. Fly over VZ with a C130 and parachute them out. Trump said he had the most secure border ever. I do disagree about the "ever" (he embellishes WAY TOO MUCH) however what he was doing securing the Border against strong headwinds from Democrats, RINOs, Lobbyists, and "The Deep State" - The Bureaucracies that are dug in a like an Alabama Tick (to quote "Predator") and activist courts build over 30+ years - was going in the right direction. What Biden talked about last night did not reflect what polls are consistently showing how the country see things. Illegal Immigration, Crime, Inflation, Direction The Country is Headed, No wonder he was yelling and angry - brow beating people into submission. Biden is going to be like the Duke Brothers in "Trading Places" when they get the Margin Call at the end, and lose all their assets. And Ackroyd/Murphy will settle the bet for $1. Priceless.

If you look at polls, lots of them, people are royally pissed off at Biden/WH/his handlers, If Biden was doing good, his polling wouldn't be in the mid-20s-to-low-40s. And I'm starting to trust these polls a tad more now that they have reflected how Trump would do in Primaries. In some Democrat Primaries Biden had close 10% to 20% Uncommitted. That's just not good and reflects his polling numbers.

@twentyfive: "What a surprise, the comments here are all over the place, very few comments on the speech itself or the president's delivery of the speech, which is par for this course." Well, to be blunt, delivery was from and angry old man jacked-up on serious meds to do that 90 min political stump that didn't support the failure of all his policies. If he was so good, take on the debates with Trump. Let's make my stance clear: I do not support anything the Democrats (I bundle Soros, Globalists and all their radicals into the Party of Plantations, Slavery, Segregation, Woke and DEI as proxies like Iran has their terrorist proxies) and RINOs are promoting. Republicans have been way too stupid to see what has happened the past 40 years, I hold them accountable too. We have a hot mess we haven't seen since post-Civil War and The Great Depression (took a World War to get us back). I laid out where the SOTU was just wrong and making stuff up. Biden claimed the wealthy from the Trump Tax cuts benefited more however The IRS said benefited the Middle/Lower class more. Crime is NOT down: Soros DAs just don't prosecute, felonies are made misdemeanors that don't show up on FBI stats as violent crime, and catch/release illegals are bring violence here. Biden crushed Trumps Border policies & over 10M crossed and were given cellphones, money, clothes, transportation, and we have NO IDEA who they are, plus the Got-Aways that crossed. 20,000 military age Chinese men crossed compared to 250 during Trump. Biden has the authority in the Constitution of deal with the Border, he chooses not to, demands the Senate Bill that allows 5M to cross with no improved Border deterrents dumping them into cities that now have to cover kids' education, food and medical over American Citizens. 15M "NEW" jobs that barely get us back to 2019 levels are just replacing what we lost in 2020 plus the lost small businesses and peope working 2 jobs now. He complained about Trump's spending (that was a problem) however he has record smashing deficit spending, demands more (to buy votes), ignores Student Debt "Forgiveness" after the SC said NO, and keeps yakking he CUT TRILLIONS in SPENDING? It was a political stump as Biden had nothing to cover his policy disasters. He appeased the radical Dems when he said "1250 were killed on Oct 7th", he didn't say "1250 ISRAELIS were SLAUGHTERED by Hamas Terrorists backed by Iran." "Par for the course" Sure, right. I'm more than ready to see 4 Trump/Biden debates, and debates w/Harris and whomever is Trump's VP. This of course assumes Biden is not replaced. Las Vegas odd place Trump @5/6 as the GOP choice & Biden @15/8 as the Democrat choice. That speaks volumes.

I was at my local precinct caucus tonight, and just got to watching. I will say, Biden was jacked-up on some really good drugs. Friday he is going to be a hot mess as he comes down. One problem Democrats ignore and lie about is that IRS put out a report that the Trump tax cuts benefited the Middle Class more than the 1%. What we got tonight was an angry old man's political stump. He said he'd hand out more money if re-elected - hand-out money is just more deficit spending. He is still pushing EVs even though the auto industry can't sell them and people don't want them. This was Angry Biden, not bringing the country together - "Democracy will end if I'm not elected". He demands a new Bill to give him the tools he needs to secure the Southern Border, problems are: 1) he issued 90+ ExOs to cancel what Trump had started to secure the Border that was working, and he auctioned off Pennies on the Dollar Wall materials that had been paid for but not used; 2) The Senate Bill doesn't help border control - it allows around 5M more Illegals coming in. He has the authority to secure the Border, doesn't need a new Bill, and it will only add more "Travel Agents" to process them faster to scattered them around the country - they still can't legally work. AND, the unspoken trust: Anchor Babies will be born here, instant citizenship and when old enough can do Chain Migration. 3) His ban on high-cap mags and "assault weapons" is useless. His last gun ban when he was a senator made no difference and when it ended according to FBI records, no difference. Plus, criminals who want them will get them. This is just virtue signaling. Now, had he promoted heavy sentencing when any gun is used in a crime, that would have been acceptable to so many - although it goes against Woke/DEI. 4) He never said he'd do a massive crack-down on MS-13 and similar ultra-violent gangs and prosecute the shit out them with hard prison convictions. MS-13 was imported to the USA, and 1,000s more enter over the Southern Border. This has got to be crushed. 5) Violent Crime is getting worse - if DAs don't prosecute Felonies and reduce a lot of Felonies to Misdemeanors, they go unrecorded. There is a good book that has been around for decades called "How To Lie With Statistics". 6) Building a port on Gaza sounds good to appease pissed off Leftists/Pro-Hamas, only Hamas will take control of whatever is delivered, and the people won't get any. 7) The Roe decision: 1) Obama said he'd codify and never did as he felt it would never be over-turned; 2) Roe is violated with states that go way beyond the first trimester to 26 states allow 24 week to viability to no limits; 3) Nothing was stopping the Democrats for 2 years to Codify an abortion Bill and they didn't. Pro-Choice/Pro-Life - for years now the Dems had a chance to deal with it and didn't. If Harris/Biden is on the Ballot, it means the Democrats are surrendering no matter who they run will lose so they can keep dry powder for 2028 and toss Harris/Biden down the crapper.

Biden's eyes will be like an owl's with whatever drugs they juice him with for things like this. And, I bet he'll be running late, this is a possibility. I also bet this will be the shortest SOTU in recent memory, and it will all be: "Give me money" "Give me the Senate Immigration Bill so I can deal with this problem" "It's the GOP's fault" "My predecessor caused all this" "Cookie Monster and Shrinkflation" (Cookie Monster is owned by PBS/NBR/CPB - taxpayer subsidized) "Crime is falling under my direction" "Inflation has significantly dropped and under control" "We are pumping more oil than ever in history" and so on. This will be a good strip club night. The funny thing is, Shrinkflation has been around for DECADES. Decades ago, Cranberries were in a 16 oz bag, now it's 12 oz (33% inflation). What the WH doesn't realize is Shrinkflation doesn't affect the published Inflation Rate. Shrinkflation hides the real numbers. He will more than likely announce ExOs regarding the Southern Border (Northern is a problem too and will be ignored) to add Border Patrol Agents and Judges - aka Travel Agents. You don't just pluck them off a tree, it'll take a LONG time 12-18 months IF people will want the gig. My hope is the GOP response will include the need for four debates starting as soon as each delegate hits the Magic Number: any place, any time, with any moderators, and a guarantee the topics will not be provided before the debate - lock them up in a hermetically sealed mayonnaise jar on Funk and Wagnalls' porch.

Haley is just a RINO like Romney. While she brought in some good manufacturing to SC, she also allowed the CCP to buy land/farms in SC. She is a big neo-conservative, serving on Raytheon's board, for example. Raytheon profits by selling Patriot missiles for $3M a shot to target $10K drone. Take a look at Planatir's AI platform developed 20 years ago protect platforms like PayPal from crackers (google it up you lazy PLs) w/NVIDA chips to build a fast offensive plan and use focused microwave to blast the semis in cheap drone. An intense uWave weapon system cost a few Dollars to use over and over without reloading missiles. And, it doesn't affect humans, and doesn't need to hit dead on - it can cover a large area several miles out to toast the semis in a drone to let it just drop out of the sky. Eisenhower warned in the 1950s, 70 years ago, about the military-industrial complex and the Lobbyists lavishing Congress with bennies for expensive weapons systems. Look up Army Swarm Drones that can cover a large area - city - send back data to an AI Planatir platform juiced with NVIDA GPU chips and POOF you have a battle plan in literally minutes. I don't own NVIDA or Planatir stock, wish I did. Look up on YouTube Army Drone Swarms. Planatir is a cheap, excellent, real AI solution for warfare. Hedy Lamarr came up with DSS (Digital Spread Spectrum) in the 1940s for communications literally on a cocktail napkin, the Pentagon laughed, and it wasn't until the 1960s the Pentagon decided to give it a go. We use DSS in all kinds of communication devices today for citizen and military. My point is. Haley is just a neo-con to send/waste BILLIONS to the military-industrial complex, when a lot of really slick inexpensive solutions are available today for the geeks in Silicon Valley. You can look all this stuff up.

^ Note, that "popular commentator" was not outed, and should be. This Bill is not necessary as POTUS has all the tools he needs. This Bill does more for Illegals than keeping them out. Debating HR 2 in the Senate would be the right way in a Democracy - Schumer and McConnell (glad his ass is exiting) made a decision not to even bring it up. So why should the House, GOP controlled even with a slim margin, deal with if their proposal was ignored. My point is, this is a political tool and Americans are getting fucked up the ass with no KY. Allowing mass Illegal Aliens to flow in has been shown to be the Top Concern of American, hence the reason the Dems are shitting their pants and sent Joe to Brownsville that had like 12 illegals cross in a week. Why are they not crossing there? Texas Razor Wire - A WALL. And why did Joe go today, Trump was to be in Eagle Pass, TX. Biden has cottage cheese for white matter, and only does what he is told. None of what he does are his plans. He is like Mel Brooks as Gov in "Blazing Saddles" just signing stuff: ^ The cost of Obamacare has skyrocketed premiums and over all costs. To address people who lose jobs could be covered by state or federal plans as part of Unemployment. Going after the entire system wasn't needed. What we really need was insurance for Major Medical, and an annual physical - not every "sniffle" visit to the doc. The end goal of ObamaCare is still to have it crater from expenses and have gov't do a complete Medicaid takeover. Then, we'll get rationed healthcare that will worsen care. If ObamaCare was so great, why was it passed deceitfully? Obamacare architect MIT Econ Professor Jonathan Gruber said "Obamacare only passed due to the "stupidity" of the American voter and a lack of "transparency," https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzbhbetwYFU#ddg-play Sure, a lot of people benefited, however, this didn't need to affect 100% of the population who liked their insurance - private or personal.

^ The Bill does nothing to control Border Security, hires more "Travel Agents" and allows over 2M illegals per year. Lankford can go fuck himself, he needs to go. HR 2 has been ignored by the Senate since May 2023. Only now, election year, this is important to Democrats and RINOs, and senators like Lankford to pass something/anything. The same Dem/RINO crowd that voted for border security over and over in the mid-2000s yet the POTUD nothing (Bush and Obama); I will say Obama deported over 3M. Then Trump comes along as a huge surprise, says he'll do, and Congress does all they can to block his efforts, that today are now more important than ever. 30 years ago the slogan was, "It's the economy, stupid" so well coined by James Carvelle. Today, "It's ILLEGAL immigration, stupid." Now, the Dems are concerned, not 3 years ago when over 90 ExOs were created for Biden to sign to destroy what Trump was doing for Border control and remain in Mexico; if you think Biden created them, go have another ice cream cone. Yeah, it'll never ever be 100% locked down. However, visa over-stays and illegals need to be deported as soon as they are discovered. If we need "crop pickers" as Pelosi and Nadler said, fine, create a special worker program where non-citizens can come in for low-wage jobs we can't fill, track them, use eVerify, tax them (fed, state, SS, Medicare, Medicaid, City, what Americans in that area pay), have the employer pay for their health care costs. If they commit a crime of any sort even misdemeanors, back they go never to return. ^ As far as Pelosi goes, she said, "Congress has to pass the bill so you can find out what's in it, away from the fog of controversy." That "Fog of Controversy is debate, key to Democracy the Democrats preach they want to "save" from MAGA/Trump. https://www.usnews.com/opinion/blogs/peter-roff/2010/03/09/pelosi-pass-health-reform-so-you-can-find-out-whats-in-it Not one Republican voted for it in the Senate or House, not one. So when no Dems voted for HR 2, it's the same. ObamaCare was crafted by SCJ Kagan before she was seated on the SC by Obama as a reward for ensuring ACA could not be overturned - parts have been. Premiums and medical costs have gone non-linear, as planned, to help crater all health care so gov't can step in and give us "Medicaid" (not Medicare) for all. Kagan has never recused herself whenever a challenge to ACA is presented to the SC. Had a Constitutional SCJ been faced with same, Chuck Schumer would be on the steps to the SC threatening them. We have two types of SCJs: Activists and Constitutionalists - you can decide for yourself who is who.

@CJ: And Trump was said to be an "Insurrectionist" by the CO SC 4-3 (all Dem Judges), with the US SC ready to drop this case like the flaming turd it is. And now a new judge (2021) in Cook County ("Vote Early, Vote Often") , CIRCUIT JUDGE Tracie Porter, says Trump is off the Primary Ballet on 17-Mar and the Nov Ballot - she does this NOW? https://www.cnn.com/2024/02/28/politics/illinois-trump-removed-ballot-insurrectionist-ban/index.html (I even used a CNN URl....gag) Yet, he was never been prosecuted for Insurrection. This "Judge" may have "felt" Trump was guilty of rape, 30 years ago with no evidence. 30 years ago, and NOW, she is harmed? 30 years? Must suck to be her. I'm all about justice, however, this #MeToo hits the 3rd rail when it is convenient for Democrats (it's no long Left, Woke, Progressives, Socialist - just Democrats). @dustyj: Women's rights and all - they support ONLY when they have leverage it for power and control. Obama had a solid Congressional Majority when he did ObamaCare, and destroyed healthcare costs. The one thing he said he'd do would be to codify Roe v. Wade, and he didn't. And what did we get? NY, CA and CO allowing partial birth abortions under any condition. Even SCJ RBG said Roe was a shit decision, and she was hardcore Left as the SC ever had. To be clear - I do support a woman's right to abortion to 12-16 weeks or in the event of her life. If the child is viable, it should be saved. And Planned Parenthood was a creation of Margaret Sanger in 1916 to help reduce the Black population in America - yeah, she was a genocidal racist. But then the Democrats are OK with that. The Democrats, the Party of Plantations, Slavery and Segregation are doing all they can to bring back the Plantation forever this time. And all the Wokesters just support it. Iran was economically decimated under Trump’s sanctions. Today, Iran doing $80B in oil sales to India, North Korea and China, and Biden’s buddy Putin is too. Health care for those who had major medical issues needed help, however, the entire industry didn’t need to be over-hauled. Millions had great coverage, and few didn’t. Those few who really needed help could have been covered with Medicaid, but no, Obama had to take over the industry with bureaucratic controls. At the same time, student loans were taken over, and interest from them is used to fund Obamacare. They couldn’t even do a website for $1B with outsourcing to a Canadian company; Founder could have done one for $50M. Insurance premiums and deductibles blew-up. To add, Biden has YET to even try to bring back antibiotic pharmaceutical manufacturing from China that we found out in 2020 during COVID-19 account for 90% we use today – Made In China. I mean, that's a storybook, man." Biden, as well as Clinton and Obama, eulogized and praised former Senate Major Leader Robert “KKK Sheets” Byrd (D-WV), and didn’t get canceled – even Obama! The Democrats even use the same propaganda techniques that Joseph Goebbels created. No, the Democrats aren’t Nazis, they adopt the same methods just as the Jesuits did in the late 1700s, “Give us your children until they are 7 and we’ll have them for life.” So, the Dems control K-College when Carter created the Department of Education in 1978/79 - perfect. @dustyj: Robert (not so) Reich Tik Tok blathering his political dogma: Immigration & Wall: In the early/mid-2000s, Congress voted to Build A Wall several time (virtue signaling and pandering for votes and donations), and never did. Trump says he’ll build a wall, comes in, wants to build a Wall and other security and enforcement policies yet Congress and the “Deep State” do all they can to block it. In 1987, the Dems promised Raegan if he signed Amnesty, they’d secure the border. He signed, they lied, CA went socialist and now we have Biden’s Immigration disaster that is a real threat to national security and individuals. Biden signed over 90 ExOs to neuter Trump’s Border Policies – 90 can all be reversed. The House passed HR 2 last May, and Chuck Schumer refuses to even touch it; that’s 9 months. So, they blame Republicans/MAGA for not dealing with the Senate Bill which actually: 1) is not needed as POTUS already has tools he refuses to use and ExOs he can reverese; 2) this Bill allows over 2M Illegals to cross annually; 3) it has verbiage to prevent whoever is POTUS in 2025 to not veto or neuter it – they strongly suspect Trump, or the GOP, will win so they added a Poison Pill. We are not going to drop out of NATO. The Dems are masters of spreading fear with this, and saying “Republicans want to push granny off the cliff by cutting Medicare”. Medicare and SS needs serious tuning for sure as they are facing serious financial challenges in the next 8 years. Lest we forget all the Anchor Babies that are coming as the Illegal Aliens roll in and then Chain Migration can go to Ramming Speed too. Congress, all of them are cowards to deal with this. SS and Medicare can be adjusted for those 50 and under giving them 10-20 years to plan and prepare. SS was never designed to be a retirement program as so many use it as. They need to create an IRA and push for 401k programs to allow more tax deferred saving; Roth IRAs for those under 30 is a HUGE GIFT for tax exempt income when they retire. The primary developers of TCP/IP (IP was the packet protocol, TCP guaranteed packet delivery if the end node was reachable) were Vinton Cerf and Bob Kahn: when you “surf” the Internet you are really “Cerf’ing” the Internet. Lobster was $1/pound on Cape Cod in the 1960s, and steamers/corn were common at county fairs in NY - and cheap. HoJos was known for its sherbert Carvel invented soft-serve ice cream – common ice cream drive-up in the 1960s/1970s in New England Space Invaders video game: The thump-thump-thump sound would slowly speed up as the Invaders were killed off increasing your adrenaline. Without that sound, the game would get boring. Original Zip Codes: Single digit. I have a John Glenn signed postcard sent to Syracuse, 5, NY (that was the order) - see next Project Mercury: Astronauts couldn't get life insurance. My dad was big in aerospace at GE. For John Glenn's Mercury space launch as the first to orbit the Earth, you could send a self-addressed card to Cape Canaveral, John Glenn signed it (no auto-pen shit), and NASA mailed it back with a special date stamp: Feb 20 1962 3:30PM "First Day Issue" - I keep it on my desk in a sealed display container. Also, while at GE, my dad was able to get original 14"x20" Gemini space and Apollo moon landing photos from the original negatives. My brother and I would take them to "Show and Tell" in elementary school - this was way before "Mikey has 2 Mommies" and "Why Porking Your Buddy is Fun". Battlezone arcade tank game: The Army actually hired Atari to develop one for Abrams’ tankers and Bradley gunners for target training. Some Atari developers refused to work on it as it was for the Army – candy ass wimps. East German Women’s Swim Team 1970s: The USSR had these women so jacked-up on ‘roids that they were about as close to men as you could get Miracle on Ice – Men’s USA Hockey Team: This team was a quickly assembled of college hockey players from all over, went to the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics and beat the professional USSR Hockey Team. In the Cold War decades, this was a HUGE defeat for the Soviets. This was a bad as Jesse Owens getting 4 Gold Medals in the 1936 Germany (Nazis) Olympics. TV: 3 VHF channels via rabbit ears, and PBS on UHF via that funky loop antennae Klipschorns (or Khorns) were developed by Paul Klipsch in Hope, AR in the late-1940s, and are still one of the most sought-after speakers today. People know about them, just not that the folded-horn design dates back almost 80 years. And, Klipsch still makes them – about 170 pounds each, and they need to be placed in a corner of the room; La Scalas are a great alternative not needing corner placement. COBOL: COmmon Business Oriented Language 1959 (still in use today actuially). Based Navy Admiral Grace Hopper FLOW-MATIC programming language using common English, not formulas, and was one of the primary developers. CompSci students today have no clue who Grace Hopper was, and she has Rock Star status with computer historians. People make a huge deal about “Girl Power” and crap, she is largely ignored by the #MeToo crowd. So is Radia Perlman, MIT Physics/CompSci, who developed IS-IS Link-State Routing Protocol in the early 1990s used today by global enterprise and Tier-1 Internet providers based from her work on Spanning Tree for Ethernet LANs in the early 1980s – she too is Rock Star in Computer Science, and a woman at that who is largely acknowledged by the Woke #MeToo Mob.

@shadowcat: As a DJ, I still have my Technics 1100 (not quartz) direct-drive turn table and it works fine. And the reason I appreciate McIntosh amps and Klipsch La Scala speakers as I used them.

@ilbbaicnl: "They younguns must be stumped with the beer can versus styrofoam cup crushing scene in Jaws." Ah yes, John "Bluto" Belushi crushing a can in "Animal House". I just re-watched this last week - priceless movie. A must see.

@shadowcat: "DJ's actually played discs called vinyl records" I was one of those DJs while in college in 1977/1979.

What about rack studies? I don't care for Ds. A nice, natural, unadulterated, B is preferred. And just SHORT, non-FANCY-ASS-FREDDIE-KRUGER NAILS, and minimal tats.
