Several of the local clubs will have porn actresses as feature dancers. I have never been but am told by other dancers that they do LDs/VIPs between sets. I met one who was working as a dancer at a club near where she lives about a month after she appeared as a feature performer at one of the big Philly clubs (billboards and everything). Doubt I would have recognized her but she immediately told me her pornstar name and I remembered the billboards. She was top notch in VIP, and it wasn’t ridiculously more than market rates for this club. I then hit her up for OTC next time I was in her town. That was pretty steep but I figured “you only live once”. It was great, and we went somewhere for drinks after. But, as it turns out, sometimes you do only live once, because she stood me up on our next OTC date. So, I deleted her from my phone, scooped up the rose petals I had scattered on the hotel room floor and bed. and went and did a VIP with one of her mere mortal co-workers at the club she works at. Too many fish in the sea, etc

Kept bumping into a former business partner at a club where I saw a regular on a weekly basis. We weren’t close and I don’t know if he was still married, widowed divorced or what. We’d just pretend like the other didn’t exist until my regular turned up and we hightailed it to VIP. He finally stopped showing up, which was good because I didn’t want to give up that regular

To be fair, some of those one-liner writers may have never seen an actual review because they don't have VIP, and don't appreciate what is expected. I can't remember how I saw a review before I got the first one published.

Regular LD area is visible to main area. Extras, including FS, readily available in VIP upstairs but very expensive ( several quoted me $300 tip on top of $300 room fee) and the talent I encountered was mostly somewhat heavy set Cubans

I try to avoid looking at my phone when a dancer is on the stage because I think it's disrespectful. I give plenty of speeches, presentations, etc to audiences of varying size and hate when people have their phones out. By the same token, it's disrespectful (and unprofessional) for dancers to sit scrolling on their phones without even attempting to engage customers. But, they don't have to follow my standards. I don't call dancers "hoes" because that's disrespectful under any decent person's standard. Because of the era I grew up in. I instinctively think of tattooed skin as less attractive as clear skin, but times have changed and I've trained myself to look past that at the SC. I've got no problem with piercings generally, but not crazy about rings between nostrils. I hate tobacco smoke and breath, but tobacco breath isn't a deal breaker if everything else is tip top. I have fond memories of a couple torrid encounters with a young Cuban spinner with tobacco breath in Louisville. Hope to see her again

sfrsox: You're referring to Harry O's in Old Greenwich, CT, which is probably the down and dirtiest club I've ever been in. Makes Pleasant Moments seem like an ice cream parlor. But the neighborhood is plenty rough too, so it's not out of place.

I usually skip PH reviews but the title this one grabbed my attention. I thought it might be sad but I respect a man who works up his appetite at the club but eats his dinner at home

I had a "no glove no love" experience here as well. I was surprised that any dancer at PO who was otherwise inclined toward FS (almost seems redundant to say that) wouldn't have condoms handy, but I learned my lesson.

I steer clear of political discussions on this site, but cannot fathom how OP can ascribe a liberal/conservative dimension to whatever he thinks he's talking about. As far as trans women are concerned, I have no interest in getting a dance from a trans woman, but I also have no interest in getting a dance from a fat woman. Same difference as far as I'm concerned. Club's prerogative if the want to hire them. If they don't also have the kind of women I like, I go elsewhere. It's the "invisible hand" of the SC marketplace

I'll go back to 3-4 more recent reviews. Surprising how many places I end up at where the clubs only get reviewed 1-2 times/year, if that. Reviews more than a year old have limited value, except to give an idea of the layout and basic operation of the place. And, of course, I'll always look for the Gold Standard: A Muddy Review

Now I'm looking at the Bottom 40 and it is equally arbitrary and nonsensical. Gentlemen's Gold Club in Balto is one of the lowest rated, and yet Exscape, a complete shithole just up Route 40, isn't on the list. GGC can be pretty slow and the talent is mid-level, but it's a safe, cozy place to hang. Breathless in NJ is a place I would actually go to intentionally if I just wanted to get my drink on and watch an endless string of skinny young Latinas shimmy and collect dollar bills. And Jiggles and Pleasant Moments definitely aren't garden spots, but offer an excellent value proposition for FS. There have to be many more than 40 clubs that are equally crappy but lack this redeeming value. It doesn't really make sense to downgrade an extras mill because it lacks the creature comforts of a pretty no extras club. Bottom line is that I wouldn't shy away from trying out a Bottom 40 club just because it's on the list, if the credible, substantive reviews look interesting

Desire is my favorite even though I don't live anywhere near there, but I've been to quite a few other clubs in the Top 40 and there's no rhyme or reason as to how some clubs make the list and how others did not, beyond the fact that everybody has their own idiosyncratic rating methods and a unique basis for comparison as far as other clubs they are familiar with. It's as scientific and reliable as the Iowa Straw Poll or the Presidential vote in Dix Notch NH. Still, it's fun to look at and a source of places to check out if you happen to be in the area. Interesting that Cadillac in PVD is in the Bottom 40. I'm sure I could think of 40 other clubs that I've been to that are worse.

It's already out and it's staying out. Just tell me where you're dancing and when, and I'll be there with bells on. And a trench coat. Nothing else.

Seems relatively risk-free compared to online escorts. The dancer doesn’t know that you won’t contact LE if things go seriously sideways and she’ll be a lot easier to track down than some rando with a fake profile and burner phone working out of a hotel room
