Long ago I did some consulting work with the tactical unit of the Denver Police Department. One of their best stories was about the guy who stole cars by pretending to be the parking valet at strip clubs. It took them a month to catch him because the owners always reported phoney locations, instead of what actually happened.

Who the fuck is Ninabambina?
It's not about the food, it's the story,. My favorite food to share with new friends is a strawberry shortcake recipe that has been in my family for 200 years, which has become a seasonal tradition with my ATF. In return, she makes Brazilian desserts, also with stories.

I heard this a long time ago, and at second hand, so maybe you should discount it but I did know everyone involved: Sex with the customer's dog. ($1,000)

You're asking this question a bit too late. After I was immunized in April, I felt safe going back, especially since a lot of clubs had very few customers. Where I live, however, (MA) the risk is now doubling every two or three weeks, and I just decided to pause again until the current surge is over. How safe you are depends on how many other people are in the club and what percentage of them are capable of infecting you. Check the New York Times (or probably other sources) for trends in your county.

Techman: Nope. A long time ago you could pay $5 extra to get to a second floor stage with nudity, but I haven't seen the second floor used in years. There are barely enough customers to keep one stage open.

They never tell you what you need to know.
The pattern I see appears to be
(1) things that were really depressed a year ago, like fuel and transportation
(2) things that are sold by ordinary people, like used cars and used houses
(3) things for people who don't care how much they spend, like lobster
(4) things we used to import, but decided to tax to put American companies First
What seems not to have generally become more expensive is labor intensive stuff like personal services, so I doubt that we are presently seeing an effect of possible future wage increases.

A law professor friend of mine swears he heard this outside his father's Chicago storefront in the 1960s:
"You can't even SAY that to me for less than a quarter!"

Keep it in my pants when I do OTC. If I were a stripper it would stand for I like big bucks and I can not lie.
My current favorite keeps her savings in cash. She learned about informal taxes when a couple of thugs broke into her house and stole her safe and the $13,000 inside it. But mostly she spends money about as fast as she earns it, so the bank doesn't see much of it. As far as I know, this is fairly typical.

@Motorhead: Sorry to disappoint, but Nigerian strip clubs aren't that great. On the other hand, I did (literally) bump into a really nice girl at an Abuja hotel swimming pool, who made an offer too good to refuse.

@Mike710. Thanks for that tip. Since my wife can see my bank transactions, I had assumed that the fee for using the ATM at a strip club would be half of my house. Now all I have to do is report my card was lost.

And, on further thought, DC may have a million residents, but residents of Paris, Texas, or Paris, France may spend money on sex in DC.

Every woman's local ATM while in da club? How else they paying for their Boob jobs?
Most of what was going on here has been thoroughly explained by earlier posters. The point I didn't see addressed is that "Yes" and "Right away" are two different answers. If you wait long enough, you'll usually get a yes, and if you ask whether someone is ahead of you in line, you'll usually get an honest answer.

As I read the link, it's all forms of commercial sex, not streetwalkers. I'm sure most of the money is at the high end of the market.

That's a sensible list. I would add (6) Prepare two wallets, so you can show her the smaller one when it comes time to negotiate on price.

At first I was going to say you should probably avoid Spirit unless you absolutely needed the few bucks fare difference. But when you mentioned not having flown before, I revised that to ABSOLUTELY DO NOT use Spirit.
(1) I used to travel a lot, and I tried Spirit several times. Something always went wrong. Lost luggage, cancelled flights, late flights, paid upgrades that I didn't get. Those are all things that happen occasionally on any airline, but with Spirit you should expect them every time.
(2), since you've been to strip clubs, you know how upsells work. Spirit is a master of the upsell. They will charge extra for everything except using the bathroom. They display a low price so they come up first in your search, but by the time you book, it's $45 more.
It's busy while since I've used Frontier, but I don't recall any serious problems. As to seat comfort, them days is gone. Prepare to be squeezed on any flight.

Didn't Yogi Berra say something like "nobody goes there on weekends because it's too crowded?". That's pretty much my attitude to strip clubs, so I definitely want to see your Tuesday review.
