Diamond is legit but still NOT FOLLIES. No disrespect but we gotta move on from that narrative. Another thing to note is that some of these girls are working both at Platinum and Diamond and yes a lot of them are the same cast but still it’s not the same vibe. I will say Diamond is slightly better on a busier day if there are no seats available because it has a better lay out and the VIP is in a more isolated area with a better curtain unlike Platinum where it is congested and uncomfortable any time after 2 pm. Follies will forever reign supreme but let’s not dare consider any place “new follies.”

@Rod - I gotta side with you man and I’ll take the blame for all the hype because I gave a review in the very beginning. I got a little too amped because I hadn’t hit the scene for a hot minute with the favorite but after being there 2 or 3 times after my things have started to unfold. It’s not enough room for the amount of folks that show up, the VIP rooms that are being used make me feel like I’m Clark Kent fucking Lois Lane in a phone booth, and I live for the diverse of women and with the vanilla shades being non existent it does take away from it. Nothing against the make it rain spots but that was the best part about the place we all miss the most... the VIP booths were in the cut, day time was busy but stable and it was easier to get a table and if none were available leaving you stuck standing you at least had room to move. The DJ, hookah and no cover charge is a plus but that pool table though? What’s the whole point in it if you’re not fucking on it? Cheers to OTC 👍

Instead of just allowing him to throw the bottle away in the trash can which was right in front of him the cop gets overly aggressive, yelling at all of us and as I’m grabbing out my ID because I know the “routine,” he looks over at me with his hand on his gun and says “Get your hands out your damn pocket.” Situation ended okay but again unnecessary. One more story for you. Just happened to be at UVA one night and saw a white dude... cool white dude for that matter drunk off his ass and being obnoxious. Cop rolls up on him and his sober friend and tells his friend.... “He’s too drunk, take him home.” The end. It’s not about white heritage, black heritage, Latino, Asian, etc....It’s about when some of us black folk make unwise decisions just like everyone else can we just put and jail and live another day? Personally, I’m tired of all the protests just like you and all the drama it brings but hey according to your “white heritage,” America was created off of protest.
