My college in mid 80’s was a hot spot for bar bands trying to make it. Buddy worked at one of the small venues on campus and I occasionally helped out loading and unloading equipment. I remember going out after shows with Bruce Hornsby, REM and Hootie and the Blowfish. Most memorable was doing shots with Susanna Hoffs- she was just smoking hot.

Going in first time and getting extras is a pretty high goal. My suggestion is to take in a few trips with nominal expectations then go for extras

Many reasons for the perspective that it’s worse now than ever but in my opinion too many have grown up with a sense of entitlement rather than a true work ethic. No one owes you anything except an opportunity to succeed. Politicians on both sides keep their power by blaming the other side for the problems in the world. 24/7 news and social media broadcast a skewed message designed to further their narrative. Worry about what you can control and slip a few tips into a garter to take your mind off what cannot.

Nice review. Evening and nights seem more back to normal. Never known them to charge for parking. Curious to know if they had 2 or 3 song breaks between dancers or kept the stage busy.

In 2012 my son’s high school did a poll. They asked students about their position on issues and also who they preferred between Obama and Romney. Obama was at about 60% but Romney’s position on the individual issues was favored by over 65%. The school was about 55% white at the time.

I have not set foot in Starbucks in over 10 years. Don’t see this changing my mind. I like plain coffee and never figured out to order that.

If you give TC another shot (and I definitely would) try another night, Sundays are just weird. A couple of the dancers (Ashley and Amber) have their schedules on here. Both are great dancing and just talking without pushing you to get a dance. One tip I will suggest is shoot for about 3:00 to get there. That’s when second shift arrives and starts working, there may only be 3 or 4 girls there before then. Hope you get a chance to get back there. I really enjoy this club.
