Son’s girlfriend was waiting tables at one of my haunts back in the day. She wouldn’t come over and take my order. I eventually went up to the bar to get a beer. Other then that I have bumped into a few strippers I have known in their civilian jobs.

PSD, I know I am late to this discussion and I have no intell on Chicago but I did read the book you referenced and it is a very good read. The real life drama is as suspenseful as any fictional crime drama.

I enjoy a good kiss with a beautiful young woman. I remember back in the early 80’s in Raleigh, NC going to clubs there. Everything happened on stage. There were no table dances or VIP rooms, etc. For a dollar tip the dancer would give you a kiss on the lips. It was often just a peck but a few girls would give you a lot of tongue and seemed rally passionate about the kiss. As the fear of AIDS grew that practice stopped. Now I get the occasional peck during a private dance but really sensual kisses are rare. I miss that. And yea I get it back in the day I was trading germs with every guy in the club, but I never got sick from it.

Nobody knows but me. Many years ago I have gone to clubs with coworkers but not anymore.

For a large part of my Strip club journey stage shows we’re all that was available. I did enjoy it when table dances came into being but I still like it when a dancer can put on a good show on stage with or without a pole. A good mix of music is good from fast hard beat songs and then some slow and sensual songs. I do tip dancers on stage. I tip more if they provide a good show.

I think being a boomer is a good thing, nicespice 🤠 Now to the topic at hand. Whore and John are just labels. They are met to derogatory so I refuse to use them or feel defined by them. In a strip club we are paying for sexual excitement if it’s the cover charge and drink to just sit and watch or it’s tipping the dancer hundreds of dollars for full service. I say don’t worry about it do what you are comfortable with as long as both parties are happy it’s a good thing.

Living on the Gulf Coast I am partial to seafood. Serve it with a good crusty bread, Caesar Salad with good wine. Delicious and it doesn’t weigh you down for after dinner activities.
