I’ve only crossed by foot. 2 hour MINIMUM. Except for my very last 3:30am Wednesday morning was about 1 hour. It sucks!! I’ve see the line to get back to USA all the back towards the taxis when you exit the garitas, way past the Zona shuttle office, then double back on its self. Definitely SUCKS!! I plan for that in my departure. Worst case i wait at airport a bit longer. Come on pedwest!!!!

So my experience, pre-covid, was fun but only was able to go arriba with, maybe 2-3chicas?!? Andvthey were FUN!!! I did a speakeasy visit, had fun! I noticed the $ was on par with HK. Last month, i confirmed prices on par with HK. No more 2x1 beers or bebida nacional. On my ‘free daily’ drink from VIP card, i was questioned, push back, about rum n coca light, cuz its technically 2 drinks. The girls were ok, but if imma pay same as HK...whats draw of TB? There are occasional diamonds. I do like the more relaxed vibe for a break from sensory overload from HK. Also like that they occasionally play bachata, salsa, old school rap etc. I do prefer Rizo hotel. Much quieter and i can actually sleep a little. 2 cents

Thank you for the review. On my visit during day time, it seemed to me that there were more customers than BGs. At the sane time we still in a ‘covid world’. Im hoping that pedwest opens May 21, but they have been pushing that date for a long time. If they do open, should help with congestion. Wishful thinking

Basically from HK callejón, turn L, head towards ‘La Malquerida’. Make R at LM. Once at corner light, farmacia Ahorro is @ catty-corner. Easy 2-3 min walk. FYI they sell different strength meds. Let them know your preferred dosage.

Agree with 623, pedwest is closed. Its a little less than a mile walk to San Ysidro. Jack in box parking is $x/8 hours. I recommend the farmacia ahorro (i think) down 2 blocks from HK. Zona Shuttle not working at that time, so either uber, taxi or TJ ‘bus’ to get to promise land. Have fun!!

So cuz im ‘brown’, I think getting into Mex is easier since i speak spanish. I’ve said visiting family, girlfriend, dentist, lipo consult, fat freeze (the last 2 with a bit of a sheepish attitude). I also say what area of TJ they live in. NOT Zona Norte. I believe i read border should be opening may 21. But they have been pushing this date back since the beginning. So taking it with a grain of salt
