Well, I've had 4 of the last 5 or 6 dancers say it was a new policy. Seems like some at least are willing to go "that sucks, I'll do what I want. I'll make more money my way". She said I was fun to dance for. I'm not one to doubt a striper that says that. Or to pass up a offered nipple 😋

Yup. Another way I consider myself lucky. They are on the other side of the political fence, but we don't talk politics. Nicest people, they took in a couple wayward kids and helped them out in the world. My son banged their daughter for a couple years (in their early/mid 20s) and everyone remained good friends when that came to an end. Borrow each other's tools, we get to throw lawn trimmings on their burn pile. Used to invite them to look through my telescope when I was into that. So,we don't talk politics (or my strip club thing), all is good.

How rare 'natural beauty' is, I think, more dependent on the observer than the observed. I've spent significant time over the years at a forested, natural hot springs. Seen many unclothed people who I thought were beautiful people. Even though they clearly were "flawed" in some matter of appearance.

In the 80s and 90s I went much less often, tipping the stage, maybe a (no touching) table dance. Knew nothing of lap dances, close up. Seems to me there were attractive girls then, and attractive girls now, albeit with lots more tattoos.

In my working days I yearned for a little more "me" time. Especially before the last kid left home. For me, covid and retirement happened the same time, and I learned, better than I knew before, about lonely. Fortunately I'm good day to day friends with my wife. Picking up guitar and playing with others now gives me a good mix of social and alone time - you can do it either way. Add in the occasion club visit and I'm good 👍.
