I am from SoCal and my mongering and strip club experiences are in SoCal, Norcal, and Tijuana. Over SoCal does not just have great clubs in LA and TJ is only 2 hours away but the COI is a mongering award winning collection of strip clubs. Within a two-three mile área there are 6 six clubs (Knockouts, Synn, Paradise, Satin, Sprearmint Rhino, and Bliss) which all offer a great variety of dancing options and plenty of extra fun. Knockouts and Satin are topless clubs with plenty of high mileage dances with hot dancers at decent prices, Sprearmint Rhino is an extras club with a good number of high quality dancer, Synn has the most dancers and plenty with the program and the pricing on Thursdays makes it the perfect strip club destination, while Bliss and Paradise have (mostly) B team dancers the value of the extras makes it a worthwhile destination. Aside from the clubs, Southern California also has plenty of bikini bars, bikini Coffee Shops, Hostess bars, massage palors, night clubs, carshows (lowrider, import, etc), expos (Model, adult, etc), and so many more eye candy venues.

According to HK's IG Page the club is still closed (assuming all the Zona Norte clubs are closed) though the Hotels are open. I thought the Zona Norte clubs would reopen in January 2021 but with each passing day and each "spike" in Covid cases in either Southern California or Tijuana the reopening is delayed. My speculation is the hotels will be forced to close if the Covid cases continue to increase, I am surprised the hotels were allowed to stay open.

I had a playlist for those who needed some mood music and a few girls provided or looked for their own music, it was all good. Overall, I prefer our sounds to any music but sometimes the background music adds something to the overall experience.

To me the issue is not if the border is open or closed, there are ways to into México (border enforcement is lax at times, bribes, fake doctor appointments, etc.). The real issue for the mongers heading to Tijuana is whether the Zona Norte clubs are open. Currently, the hotels are open but the clubs are not which has created a new mongering environment, and to me it seems underwhelming. For me the fun of TJ was going there and seeing hundreds of willing ladies at various clubs, drinking with one or two, watching the dancers on stage (and on the top of the bars), evening talking with the waiters and other customers (plenty bought me drinks), other cool things included watching sporting events and dining at different places. Tijuana was primarliy for the chicas but there was much more to it. Going to Cascadas or Rizos and picking from a line up and then taking her to your room does not sound fun to me.

I like driving and enjoyed plenty of mongering road trips. Before I knew about the fun in the VIP rooms in strip clubs, I took two mongering trips to San Jose, California which is about 6 hours away just to visit Vietnamese Bikini Coffee Shops. I had heard San Jose was were there first Coffee Shop were and their was a great party scene at those Shops, the lowkey strip clubs, and the night clubs. Though a little disappointing, I nonetheless had plenty of fun on both trips. Also, i would drive 5 hours to Las Vegas for Hot Import Nights and Lowrider Carshows, both times I had plenty of fun (PG level). After discovering the fun available in the COI clubs VIP rooms, I was soon introduces to TJ which is about a 2.5 hour drive. As far as civvies, I've had relationships about 2-3 hours away. My current GF moved back home when Covid hit, which is a 6 hour drive for me.

I agree with @greanbeans, speaking Spanish is helpful but not necessary. Plenty of the staff/waiters (maseros) speak English and are glad to help (for a small tip). Also most BGs speak enough English to make the deal or they will use universal body langauge to seal the deal. A few BGs I met spoke decent English (5th/6th grade level) but my Spanish was usually better than their English. I find speaking Spanish helps when you want to talk and get to know her better or if you want to take her out, again not always necessary but I found it useful.

Interesting reviewing, my first comment is for a review titled "The Best Review I've Ever Seen" there is surprinsingly little in the review about this alleged "best ass" "I saw the nicest ass I’ve ever seen in my life so I decided to approach. Asked for a dance and she declined" little description of the ass (or the BG) and while we all monger(ed) differently but to turn down the best ass you have ever seen because she turned down the dance seems anti climatic. There are plenty of BGs with great asses, thongs, g strings, stripper heels, squats, and surgery have made for a great variety. While I can understand why mongers would want a dance, I personally never used a dance as a method of selecting a BG to go arriba, the ficha usually worked better for me. Also from the few discussions I had with BGs regarding the issue of dances, some would comment the goal is to go arriba and dances are a waste of their time and a mongers money. Some would comment the mongers who LDK do not tip well enough to make this worth BGs spending time pursuing, while some mongers might point out that per minute the BGs make more money with dances than arriba but the BGs said the goal is arriba because of the total money involved and the nature of the Zona Norte. I agree the hotter BGs do press for arriba rather than dance, many turning down a ficha offer which I consider a bad sign, it would be more likely to be a rushed experience.

TJ is still a viable mongering destination even with the border issues and HK's being officially closed. If you are not concerned about Covid crossing into TJ is merely an exercise of patience and persistance. Most people with a valid US passport can cross without any problem, though you might want to prepare a good reason for crossing (Doctor, Dentist appointment) and be ready to pay for a visitors visa. Though the Zona Norte bars are closed the hotels are opened and offer, albeit limited, companionship options. In the past while visiting TJ during the Christmas and New Years holidays, I estimated about 70-75% of the usual the BGs working, factoring in Covid and the uncertainty of income/health issues I would estimate there are around 40-50% of the usual BGs. Still plenty of selection though less than ideal and this may lead to prices being a little higher than usual, I would imagine $80-100 range will be standard.

All the respect, they are true hustlers. They know they have what the PLs want and they hustle to make the money, though in my limited experience with each of them (and Ivanka) they use boarderline ROB tactics and have GPS. Some might say the GPS label is unwarranted because it is their right to ask for what they want which is true, but not understanding the market and asking for 4-5 times the going rate of services will get them the GPS label. I experienced the boarder line ROB tactics in the form of going to the lap dance room and not dancing but rather pushing to take her to the VIP room and refusing to start dancing unless you tip her first. They are four of the hottest dancers at Synn COI but after one mediocre experience I avoided all four of them whenever I visited Synn COI.

Going to TJ for lap dances and a little boob sucking is like going to a steakhouse and ordering a Chicken salad, to each their own. All the COI are closed, they tried to open on the down low only to be shut down after two weeks. As of tonight the OC clubs (Sahara and Imperial) are open and for the right price (not 10k though) you can get some high mileage lap dances and I am sure a boob or two can be sucked in the VIP room. If you go to the one of those clubs, ask the dancer where she worked before and if she mention one if the COI clubs the odds are she should be down with the program.

"How important is it to make the client feel like they're the best?" It is absolutely unimportant for a dancer to make me feel like I'm the best, my ego needs no stroking from a dancer. All I wanted from her is show me she is the best at whatever I rented her time for (dances, company, BJ, FS).
