This was the first club I ever went to in FL back in the 90s. Dancers were mostly coked-out white girls at the time, half of them named Madison or whatever the stripper names were then. Sounds like it hasn’t changed since.

@gammanu If you’ve gone there, especially if you spend time in a lot of the more wayward strip club towns (lately, most of the country), this place is essentially not of the same planet. Simon’s pretty dead on here, though on a Sunday night I managed to find a bar seat. For the money, no place like it.

There is a nude club in Virginia. But you have to drive to Roanoke for it.

Not really “mixed” drinks here. Beer and wine and some strange “other” concoctions. Otherwise accurate review. Some of the girls are far above average in looks (I’ve had some 9s but also some 6s there), but pricing structure and attitudes (especially with some of the Asian / Filipina gals) are ROB-friendly.

Good grief......By no one buying dances or dinner dates (or going there), perhaps they’ll change their tune. One of the things I loved in the old days was gals joining for dinner at the bar and just hanging out. The management reminds me of the old Chinese-owned pet store skit on SNL where their only inventory was one chicken but the owner wouldn’t sell it.

Good review, not a lot of folks bother with VIP ($$) so you don’t hear much about it. You get better mileage but hearing the friggin bouncer staff by the register talking above the music destroys the atmosphere there.

Well they just lost my business. A shame as I actually like the club itself (the girls weren’t as awesome recently as they were my previous visits). With Baltimore fast becoming an SC wasteland, and WV having been pretty weird/meh for a while, I think I’ll confine my visits to FL clubs for a while.

My recent Florida trips (Tampa and S FL) make me wonder why anybody bothers with SCs anywhere else. The old standbys in Baltimore are really losing steam fast. I’m guessing money laundering or other activities (plus the occasional bachelor blowout) seem to be the only reason a lot of these clubs are still open.

The negative for me here is the dancer drinks. I’ve had a few good times here. The downstairs laps are decent, VIP is just basically 30 min lap dance. I think a lot of OTC happens here.

Agree this looks to be a shill. Or perhaps the OP hasn’t been to other places (S FL or Arizona) which are a completely different environment.

I was surprised on my visit Sunday how much attention you can get from those $10 floor dances - I’d say more mileage than some of those $30 laps back north if you have the right girl that encourages clutching and grabbing in all the right places. And yes $150 can get you what might be termed anywhere else as “multiple extras”. Accurate review.

I was there on Sunday night, relatively dead in there, and no bracelets to go into the lap dance area. Cute gals, relatively small group of customers after midnight. Concur with your review - not a bad place (Except I’m not a fan of $10 covers when the place is practically empty) and could be dangerous if I spent too much time there and started doing VIP stuff on any diet of regular basis.

Fair enough. On the flip side of my comment, if I lived in that nice upscale neighborhood I’d have no problem swinging by there a couple times a week.

Considering you’ve been to some decent clubs with real lapdances / mileage from your previous reviews (like Gold Club Centerfold’s in Sacto, a place we both have reviewed), I’m actually surprised by your glowing review of this place. It’s not bad for what it is, but given it’s in DC, it’s no private dances, no touch (pretty much). Perhaps there should be a different rating scale (or “penalty”) for clubs with no mileage, that still allow one to rank other aspects like if the dancers are 9s or 10s, or you didn’t have to spend much money. Either way, typical DC clubs should not rate above a 7.00 overall, no matter how good a time you have.

Jocelyn was there for 5+ years. Texas was there for about 3 years too. Must be getting on with life.

The TUSCL score has been plunging the last couple years. This used to be a solid 7+.

DC scene in general is pretty pathetic. The Cloakroom appears to be an exception based on reviews but I’ve never been there.

This review is well done. It tells me that I’m best doing what I’ve done before - get there at 9ish (when there are a 6-7 decent/high-end dancers) and get the hell out before midnight.

Rather than post a redundant review I’ll add that I visited again a night later after escaping the train wreck that is Atlantis. It was later and much much busier than it had been the previous night. The big long curvy bar was fully-staffed (effectively two bars connected by long curvy tables that were fully occupied. Some other things I noted were there are actually seats around part of the stage - the low part. The seats are low and practically invisible until you walk down there. Girls were largely different. Though both nights had heavily tattooed chicks, the ones tonight were more Latina or older than Tuesday. Fewer outright 8s, a couple more 6s in the mix. A Latina gal, Lily, approached me for a 2-for-1. She was topless, grabby and handsy in all the right places, but tried to upsell me to a private room. Those run 15 min for $100, 30 min for $180. I went for 15, you pay that in advance (unlike normal 2-for-1 laps). It you end up in a similar kind of space (a room with sofa, table and curtains). The gal kept trying to upsell me to a 30 for more fun instead of giving me the most value for 15 (she did a half-assed handjob, but did let me touch her pretty much everywhere). Solid as a lap dancer but attitude left a lot to be desired. Will visit next time I’m in town, but prefer it less crowded. There was a nice sausage and burger tent at the front of the building on Wednesday (and presumably on other nights when it’s not raining), reasonably priced.
