They have to earn a tip. Politeness helps as opposed to them thinking they’re doing you a favor by letting you spend money there.

@Dominic77, I’ve had decent luck at a couple places in Columbus (although those are pasties) if you go during daytime. No idea about what’s happened in the Land.

Pretty much anything except post-2000 hip hop, country, boy bands, and Ed Sheeran. God, please no Ed Sheeran.

@chessmaster, as I posted a couple spots above your post, we’re talking the rapidly downhill spiraling landscape of the Baltimore area and I’ve thrown in the single lap dance option in Northern Virginia. And cost of living is likely an issue here as it would be in SFO and Manhattan. I never travel to Arizona and only occasionally get to Florida. Once in a while I go to NC and Louisiana and both Sacramento and south Cali. Sacto is actually home of one of my favorite clubs(GCC). Last time I was in TX was 8 years ago. It’s probably been about 20 years since I last saw a $10 lap dance and it was never in the mid-Atlantic. And go into DC and you basically have Choice C only, except a couple places with lapless-VIP rooms.

Just as background, in the Mid-Atlantic (Baltimore and Northern VA are my examples), except for a handful of specials at a few clubs, $30/dance is the bare minimum and many places are higher or require a longer minimum time. West Virginia is about the only place within a 90 min drive where it’s under $10 a minute for VIP rooms (single dances are stupidly expensive but 15 min or longer are far better values)

I’d definitely put Baton Rouge on the list thanks to those LSU girls and those farm girls / Latina babes who seem to show up there to work in strip clubs, Hooters, Twin Peaks, or even waitressing at places like Walk-Ons. I’d rank it well above New Orleans, and probably above SFO. To be honest, I’m somewhat jaded about LA and OC, maybe because I lived there for 7.5 years. The 8s and 9s generally don’t work in SCs and the 7s act like God’s gifts. It’s been a long time since I’ve gone to an SC in Texas but Houston used to be, quite honestly, hit or miss for me. Plenty of blimps these days in most large cities, with NY, Boston and the South FL cities + Tampa tending to be better than most of the others. Finally, Baltimore has gone downhill the last 2-3 years. I was quite frankly more impressed by what I saw in Martinsburg WV last Saturday than what I see in Baltimore (even if the WV girls seem to struggle with basic social interactions with customers, including saying “thank you”).

The No. 1 thing the serious private room veteran ladies prefer is that you not wear jeans, especially button flies. Don’t dress like a slob or forget to shower, but as the girls that I have played with in Baltimore have admonished me, loose khakis, sweat pants or cargo shorts are best for the kind of action we desire. In short, if your pants give you a wedgie, not a good look.

Some girls who are vets in the business and don’t have things like kids and relatives to worry about it may travel to places that are “in season”, ie Maine in late summer, Vegas in January, Nola during Mardi Gras, southern beach towns during spring break and tourist season.

Bartenders/waitresses, sometimes. At my former “home” club in BAL those girls also danced on certain nights, so they weren’t like total strangers.

In Maryland the girls were ruled to be employees, not contractors, at particular clubs in Baltimore County, if not the City. Club can decide who works when, require a work card, slap on particular work rules (eg pasties, no touching the customer during laps, etc.) and can take bigger chunks than usual out of their tips, and do on.

The only thing weirder than not hearing from my ex-ATF for 4 months is going to an event with my wife, and seeing the gal there with a couple guys who worked at / went to her old club. Talking about both us trying hard to totally ignore each other.

Interestingly, just happened last Saturday. I was at a car club event (Daytona Rolex 24 viewing party) with my wife at a bar, and my former ATF was there with a couple guys who looked like they worked at clubs I’d gone to before. I thought I’d saw her, then we were hanging at a new car they had on display. The ATF was staying in the passenger seat. Hearing her voice from far (and sounding as dumb as a lamppost), it confirmed my suspicions. Interestingly one of the former ATF’s friends (I found later that he was) and I were talking. While we were talking, I saw her hiding her face in the passenger seat behind the price sticker. Pretty goofy.

In general, B. Although I think Baltimore has been hurtling toward C (the dreaded Richmond level) which is why I monger very little on my home turf anymore. I think it skews higher the farther south and/or west you go. Unlike most millennisls and younger, I do not consider cam girls and tinder the equivalent of a sexy curvy human who will generate pleasure for you at the right price. And I still think FS escorts in Canada are a better option than your typical strip club, especially those where the VIP rooms run $10/min or worse and don’t have extras.

Did it once in the 90s. I would suspect (as was true then) most of the prime time gals will not be there. No laps or VIPs, and dancers on stage get fewer tips. Afterwards, possibly another story.

@GoVikings....Hustler Club in Baton Rouge does ID and fingerprints if you take a girl for laps. Sad they are really the best option in that town because anywhere else that is unacceptable.

That one guy owns five clubs in Richmond may explain the high prices and odd atmosphere. Note also there is a Paper Moon in Northern Virginia as well, Also high priced. Perhaps owners who brave public pressure and ridicule essence a little bit of credit, but monopolies are never a good thing for custies or the dancers.

Joc13 yep, I could stay away from the club for a few months and the bartender would remember me and know my drink, and gals would remember me. So I believe it does happen courtesy of the bar and VIP cams. Big brother is watching you. Another topic above was that sometimes the staff (waitresses, floor managers) who are women tend to be a little more standoffish. A dancer I know has evolved into the “house mom” on certain nights which means she has responsibilities to keep the gals on the straight and narrow......so their job is something different than entertaining whatever is in your pants. I know it impacts her perspective.

When I did a VIP room with my 2 ATFs, I told them I was their dirty uncle, so at least one of them calls me Uncle Roadworrier. And you’re all right, they will remember everything.

Only club on VA side with laps is Paper Moon. Some nice girls (twice I’ve gotten numbers) but the dance prices are ridiculous and VIP is a joke. DC is nude dancers on stage, no laps, not much engagement off-stage unless you are very local. Agree that Baltimore area is best. GGC is best value, but you need to go VIP if you want topless laps and other goodies. Goddess and Millstream have their moments (Goddess is pretty laid back on the topless laps, Millstream is pasties and one-way touch). But VIP prices are outrageous at most clubs ($10/min). That said, Millstream generated at least two ATFs for me and numerous others have provided digits for OTC (maybe not same night). I went to Players Club 20 years ago when it was the Wagon Wheel. Apparently still the best for pure topless laps, but I keep hearing it’s not the same as it was. One day I’ll try it again and stop loaning about how lame all the other clubs are.

Always planned. Usually around business trips, when the wife is visiting her family, or when I can successfully go deep cover (“business trip”) to visit a particular ATF. Lately it’s purely been while I’m traveling on business, since the local scene (DC/MD/VA) just doesn’t excite me much. And the ready availability of reasonably-priced FS outcall in Montreal (quasi-legal and I ended up with a great-looking, friendly girl who looked like her online pic) has made me even more skeptical about the local crap.

A lot of people I worked with who came of age in the 70s and 80s left spouses and married the secretaries (especially since I worked in two firms with offices in the south - this happened more often than not). I will also say that harassment didn’t happen at work. But socializing at happy hour, Xmas parties, house parties, etc. brought out the wildness in many people (both males and females). Post-work socializing seems so 80s now. They call it “networking” , usually it’s a more random meet-up group, and it specifically targets single people. What’s a middle-aged guy to do with coworkers being off-limits? So here we are.

$10 per minute and above seem to be the going east coast rate for just about all kinds of dances or VIP encounters, and I’m seeing a lot of upscale clubs (or wannabes) that are going even higher. For example, the club in Baton Rouge I was frequenting when down there has gone bonkers with their pricing. I realize they are by far the market leader there, but they’re going to get killed long term unless their regulars all have wallets filled with dollar totals 10 times higher than their IQs.
